My daughter teaches. She says that even the simplest question frequently results in a response of

Sounds to me that they have totally bought into the Rev-runnnn Jacksunnnn's preaching of the victim mentality...

Not sure what you mean by smoother, but I've been in the worst schools on the South side of Chicago, and the staff is usually about 95% black. The kids still don't learn, they still don't bother to come to school and there are still crimes committed on school property.

Unfortunately, it does allow a lot of the black teachers to preach the same kind of hatred as Jeremiah Wright. Only in the classroom, rather than in a church.

Also, about the black cop in the black neighborhood thing; a while back, a cop was murdered on the South side and the black neighborhood cheered. It was pointed out to the residents that the cop was black and he had a wife and kids. The general response was that they were still glad he was dead, since he represented "The Man". They give black cops just as much of a hard time as they give white cops. Sometimes worse.

From the terminally naive attitudes of these guilt-ridden, apologist, wimpish white teachers, I can tell that the Ayers-esque faculties at the Teacher’s colleges are doing splendid work in completing their missions of dumbing down this nation and emboldening the black street thugs whom will populate Obama’s private army.

Not necessarily. Minority cops sometimes put up with less BS than the white guys. And the "police brutality" complaints around here seem to keep coming no matter what the race/ethnicity of the cop.

Its racist when a white teacher expects a black student to follow the rules. Its not racist when a black student calls a white teacher "a white bitch." Sounds like the 1984's "New Speak" just arrived a little late.

Until and unless the school administrators go back to a uniform policy of expecting and enforcing respect from every student it will just continue to go down hill.

I feel sorry for the teachers who try and enforce disciplined behavior in their classrooms but are NOT backed up by the spineless administrators and the school boards. I do not sympathise with the liberal progressive teachers who are willing to make excuses for such unacceptable behavior. They reap what they sow.

Actually, I agree with those who downplay the seriousness of this behavior. Nevertheless, the fact that analogous behavior by any White student would be viewed far lesss charitably is both undeniable and exceedingly disturbing. The ideal solution would be to apply the same tolerant, forgiving standards to everyone—especially children. The fact that we all know that will never happen sadly speaks to the depth of the sickness/mental illness that is modern "liberalism" (and calling it that is an insult to the true liberals who founded this country.)

I am so tired of hearing about the poor blacks. Their are poor white people too. I have also noticed that the blacks in our area have become more aggressive toward whites in general lately. Been hearing from people who tell tales of blacks daring the sales clerks, (whites) to fight or pick a fight.

Well the cops seem to have a hopeless/thankless task in some places...a waste of tax dollars on those who won’t cooperate and don’t appreciate it.

Sort of like schools in those places. One of my neighbors used to teach in a rough neighborhood. He tried to use examples of how paying attention in school and getting a good job would help his (5th grade) students get nice things & live in a nice neighborhood. Most just said “Well I’ll just steal it from you.” He said he thought he got through to maybe one a year.

I find it hard to believe that a whitey crime victim in an inner city school would get any justice from a jury pool from that neighborhood. Sadly, the lessons of "Jim Crow" "justice" haven't been learned by everyone.

All the video in the world of violence toward the teachers and white students means nothing if the county will not do anything about it. And we know they won't because they fear that they will be branded with the word racist.
