I got the impression she was deadly serious about what she believes. Are you referring to her holding up the bible and saying this is what people lack or when she called Odrama a COMMIE???

She also talked about black liberation theology, she seemed very well informed...

“I got the impression she was deadly serious about what she believes.”

I hope she was, but I didn’t get that impression. She sounded like she was doing a parody of her SNL character. Even Larry The Cable Guy comes out of character when he is serious. Maybe she really talks like that and is the only one who will say what many are thinking, but I was skeptical.

That’s just it. She isn’t dumb. THAT was acting. I knew she was a conservative a long time ago. Made her even that much better.

Victoria Jackson went to Auburn University, probably one of the few bastions of as close to a conservative college you will find at a public university. At least it was when she went there. The libs have made some inroads in recent years. But at least when I was taught there, a poli sci prof made no nonesense about Jimmah being the worst president.

Sorry, I was making a joke that went over your head, and probably most of the other readers here.

Miss Jackson was a comedic actress on Saturday Night Live about twenty years ago. One of her most well known bits was a song entitled "I Am Not A Bimbo".

Opposite Dennis Miller and Al Franken, no less, on "Weekend Update".

Apparently she is an actor actress.

The language is debased enough without Free Republic adding to it.

This remarkable video is well worth watching. Well worth it. I'm glad I took the time.

I watched it, and exactly 50 percent of me was buying it, cheering -- but the the other 50 percent was suspicious, wondering if it might be an act, a spoof, as if to say, "This is how dingy the Right is."

I'm really perplexed. The thing that pushes it toward genuine and believable was her description of protesting on a conservative side at the Santa Monica pier -- that was real, which leads me to think she's sincere. And IF she's sincere, then God bless her! HOORAY!

The way she talked about protesting so quietly and politely, after being basically bullied down by the big boob pundit (I don't know who it is)sitting next to her, and comparing it to a protest of liberals in Orange County, CA (what an ass!). She was funny and honest and smart on how she described the protest and the cameras zooming in on a dumb girl passerby who asked, "What's wrong with socialism?" I hope Victoria warriors on with her talents. God bless her.

The "dumb blonde" myth in action, where someone who comes off dim as an environmentally friendly fluorescent bulb, has surprising laser qualities of sanity and sense.

See my post 48.

Wow -- and the irony of the Dennis Miller and Al Franken connection -- that's just too rich. Dennis is okay and he means well, but I don't think he's quite got the principle of conservatism dialed in.

What makes one suspicious is Victoria's total roll-over attitude of how Fox is the only one that tells the truth -- it made me cringe, because it seemed like she was playing Hannity. It had to be parody. But interestingly, the one who was the most offended by it was the big pompous liberal windbag bully next to her.

If there's intentional parody on her part, it might be the stupidity of giving that kind of accountability to any news network. Over the top, but what's the windbag supposed to do, argue that Fox doesn't tell the truth, or that there is such thing as an infallible single source for world news and culture?

Thanks for the ping!
‘Saw Victoria on Hannity the other night and appreciate this encore.
She’s deceptively dingy! That’s just her schtick ~ she’s adorable and disarmingly bright.

“surprising laser qualities of sanity and sense” indeed!

(Gosh I love the way you write!)

I agree with her. If only Rush were President...

The homepage of her website (the name Victoria Jackson and the obligatory dot com) has a poem about her answer to the question, "Why can't we all get along." I'd post it full to Free Republic, but didn't want to risk breaking some copyright rule or such. When you get a chance, check it out. It's just priceless.

We don't have cable, so I didn't see her on Fox. Awfully glad to see the clip posted here, though. She's the real deal.
