Smart. Why work oneself into a higher income bracket whereas the government takes your profits or sacrifice so much to pay for Nancy Pelosi’s and Harry Reid’s evil whims? Sorry I missed that call.
Next up? Firing employees no longer allowed.
So you are saying that it is Republicans who are irresponsible and that Democrats are responsible and will balance the budget......

That Democrats are irresponsible is sort of a given. What I say about them is that they will pass their tax hikes under the guise of “balancing the budget”. Not that they actually will balance anything - instead we just get higher taxes and tax-n-spend, Chicago style.
But like I said, that is a given, provided the makeup of the Democratic party.
That´s why we need the Republican party to act as the Grown-ups, who spend responsibly.
But Bush and congress weren´t able to do that. Spending ballooned, and the deficit swelled. If spending had been controlled, it would have been harder for the Democrats to roll back the tax cuts, as they surely will in 2011. And I don´t like higher taxes, hence I think it´s bad.
