Later the station did play some clips of the owner's wife, though. This story dominated the station's headline news that evening.

They had more footage, but most of it wound up on the cutting room floor. The cutting room floor at Islamic TV stations is usually quite different from traditional cutting rooms.

I agree that “Islam is a peace peaceful religion.” But you must admit that women in Islam seem to cause more trouble than women in other religions.

I noticed in another article that a woman in Saudi Arabia had provoked a group of men to gang rape her. But at least in Saudi Arabia it was handled properly, and the indecent thing has been sentenced to forty lashes.

I don’t know why Muslim women would be so unruly. Truly, it’s puzzling. Anyone have any ideas?

Watch the entire clip at the link. The word "Muslim" appears only once, in the anchor's lede. The rest of the report never mentions it and Bridges TV only referred to as having been established to promote inter-cultural understanding, wwith no mention of it's real role--to promote acceptance of Muslims in American society after 9/11.

Why are they picking on this poor, "devout" Muslim man? He only did what is in keeping with his religion, the religion of peace. See? Now he has "peace" and quiet in his house.

Now, he could have locked her in her room until she starved to death, but he thought that was too barbaric, and a "fundamentalist" following of Islamic rules, and therefore choose a more modern, considerate and kind way to execute his wife.

Besides, all the streets are paved in Buffalo, it would be too hard to dig up the asphalt, bury her up to her neck, and hold a Friday night public stoning, although he's sure there would have been a very good turn out had he chose that method.
