I am from Pennsylvania and sent Mr. Specter a little note tellng him what I thought of his position and that I would not be supporting him in the future. What a traitor.
Exactly. It’s like being forced to dig your own grave before the firing squad shoots you.

Vote NO on this Stimulus bill, ask for a clean bill from the house. Klobuchar, you’ve already supported the first Failed Bail-out, among other fiscally irresponsible spending during your time as a Senator. I demand you not accumulate more Federal debt or resign from representing Minnesota before you vote.
Would it be possible to recall some of them? If so, conservatives could be nominated to run in their place.
Let’s target them, spread the word online across all state lines, and support their opponents with LOTS of money.
So now we are not only up against ACORN, everyday rat fraud, millions of new rat voters thanks to amnesty, dishonest rat officials covering for fraud and allowing it to pass muster, ad nauseum, but other “conservative” splinter groups, or possibly agents provocateurs? Then gerry-mandering on an unprecedented scale after the next census? Courts stacked with rat judges? And an electorate that can and will vote itself largesse from the earnings of producers? I’m sorry to sound so pessimistic right now, but it feels like being in one of those rooms where the ceiling and walls slowly come together till you’re crushed. Everywhere you turn, you’re up against it, and the rats are in the process of gleefully cementing their power, this time they’re making no bones about it, they don’t plan to ever allow another conservative even a chance to “serve”. I think President Bush’s election and then re-election put them on notice, and now they are in a position to do whatever it takes, with or without the blessing of all Americans, to make sure it never happens again, to put an obstacle in their long-cherished plan of socialist rule, with them as the elite. Mostly they don’t even have to worry about the voters, they can be bribed, or distracted, the ones who aren’t yet fully indoctrinated. I am more disgusted with my fellow Americans, I think, than the rats, that they are allowing-abetting-this. They don’t care what happens to their freedom-as long as they are “free” to be perverts, use drugs, whatever makes them feel good. Some freedom. They don’t even deserve to be free, they don’t know what it means or care. As long as someone gives them a free ride, even if it’s at a minimum level, they don’t care. As long as they can destroy the fabric of society with their indecency, they think that’s “freedom”. Unfortunately, they’re taking the rest of us down with them. I despise these people, and I think there’s more of them than of us.

Absofrickinlutely correct!
Which is a big part of why I continue to donate to and support Free Republic. That support is undoubtedly one of the very best ways to give the finger to our corrupt political hacks in Washington.
Feels good.

I would like to point out that even Republicans who did not vote for this monstrous swindle have in fact betrayed the nation for the last eight years. Please never forget the attempts by George W. and the upper echelon of the current Republican Party to force amnesty and a “path to citizenship” for millions of illegal aliens on the American people.
They all knew that amnesty would change this Republic forever and that the changes would not benefit American citizens. We the people shut down the phones in the Senate and forced Bush et al to back down. They have gone undercover, but their goal remains unchanged.
They voted no on the stimulus give away, but they can not be trusted. McCain and Lindsay Graham were two Republican turncoats who pushed hardest for amnesty. Graham spoke to LaRaza and called every American who did not favor amnesty bigots.
Yesterday that creep was on TV ranting against the stimulus package. McCain is agaist it too. They are trying for rehabilitation. I also saw a Democrat, a woman legislator, who chose to criticize McCain and Graham for balking at the give away of tax dollars.
I confess, I don’t trust politicians. My thought when I saw this woman singling out Graham and McCain of all the Republicans who won’t sign on to Obama’s plan, was that she was giving them cover. They both have to run for reelection. Like all politicians they know that voters have short memories.
Lindsay’s histrionics on the floor yesterday are certainly intended to impress voters in South Carolina that he is a stand up guy. He is not. He is a sleazy, greasy, dishonest politician. I really hope that South Carolina voters remember how he told LaRaza that they were all bigots.
I believe our only hope at this point is to convince a few Democrat Senators to go along with voting against cloture. Mary Landrieu and Diane Feinstein are possibilities.
A Free Republic Party? Hmmnn! That sounds very interesting. I know that the Republican Party doesn’t sound too good anymore.
And now they are appropriating our money to pay for more murder of babies-now that’s really feeding Moloch.
