Remember Joseph taxes a portion of everyone’s harvest during the years of plenty, then makes them trade away their land and possessions in order to buy grain during the years of famine. In doing so he reduces everyone to slavery.

Hamilton's elitist views and real purpose for wanting Central Banking came to light, when he wrote:

“All communities divide themselves into the few and the many. The first are rich and well-born, the other the mass of the people. The people are turbulent and changing; they seldom judge or determine right.”

Hamilton, an immigrant from the British West Indies was a agent of European bankers an definitely what we would consider a Socialist. Mr Gordon appears to be the same.

Maybe this Jefferson quote is more applicable to the story of Joseph.

“To preserve our independence, we must not let our rulers load us with perpetual debt. If we run into such debts, we (will then) be taxed in our meat and our drink, in our necessities and in our comforts, in our labor and in our amusements. If we can prevent the government from wasting the labor of the people under the pretense of caring for them, they (will) be happy.”

There are eight states, including Oklahoma and New Hampshire, that have these measures in the legislatures. This page has a list of them.

Please pass this on to others who might be interested.

Thanks for telling me that. I had no idea. Our local talk radio guy is too busy pimping “24”.

The federal government, with the aid of the judiciary, has been going beyond the constitutional scope of its authority since at least the beginning of the twentieth century.

What abuse in particular prompted this New Hampshire House resolution? Has it come up for a vote yet in the NH House?

This is a preemptive move. One of the other states has followed NH, I can’t remember which one... hmm, probably found under the keyword “10thamendment”.

Can anyone tell me what I am missing in this? Every liberal blogger I have read thinks this resolution is wonderful. I read one saying he could not wait to move to NH.
