I'm not defending Michelle Obama, just trying to figure out what she's really griping about. Yes, she is obsessed with money, but the reason she's ticked off is that in the White House, they actually do get billed for some things. I have a hunch the Obamas are used to not paying for ANYTHING. Someone esle bought their house; M.O. gets huge raises for cushy jobs; and someone else always picks up the check at dinner. I would bet they also get cash from supporters under the radar. But in the White House, their finances will be scrutinized. I think M.O. feels the pinch now. (Again, I am NOT defending her.)

First Lady Michelle Obama told a young school girl who said she wanted to be First Lady when she grew up, "It doesn't pay much."

Here's how I look at it. Leftists don't want other people to succeed where they did, and to have what they have. If there had been no cameras around, Michelle would have probably told the girl to be some housekeeper or something.

It doesn’t pay much? Is that what we have become? Is it our responsibility now to pay the First Lady what she thinks she is owed? When did it become our jobs to work like dogs so we can provide major money for the woman who shares a bed with the guy we vote for President?

Seems to me we give them a free house, major security, trips all over the world and now this woman demands what? Seven figures? Me thinks she is ungrateful after a mere twelve days. Who died and made her Queen?

I was listening to the radio the other night--something about the President and the Super Bowl. Then they mentioned Obama, and it came back to me, "Oh yeah, HE'S the president now." My mind just can't get wrapped around this bunch. Clowns up there when we need serious minded people.

As far as ungrateful Michelle, I don't think she's going to be hurting from lack of an official salary.
