Funny how things jar old memories...in high school, my friend was horrified by a coat she got as a gift.
It was faux leather and *precisely* the color of a bullfrog.
For a year, she suffered other kid’s cracks about her “frogskin coat”.
[I never voiced my own interpretation of the color, of course]
Those gloves would matched it, nicely.
[And a pair of diving flippers would’ve completed the ensemble]
Just hideous.
Look how she’s standing in the photo in #25! Maybe it’s partly how big she is, but she sure looks ungainly part of the time.
With a matching ottoman.
My parents had one like that as well.
