You’re naieve. This is strictly eye candy for we, the unwashed. Do you really think the majority of demrats and their RINO enablers will go along with this?
Let me be clear about Sen. McBipartisan. His military service to this country was extraordinary. But that was then and now is now.
Don’t know where he lost his honor along the way, but this man cares only about his Senate seat. He will do anything, to include selling his soul to the demrats, to retain it.
Anybody that comes out in public arena and gives succor to the killer Ted Kennedy by calling him the “Lion of the Senate” has, indeed lost his way.
And, please, don’t give me the line about his simply expressing compassion for the seriously ill b*****. Where is his and your compassion for Mary Jo Kopeckne—the girl he killed and whose death he was never made to atone for? I mean the creep got himself out of the car, but left her to drown. Didn’t even report it until many hours later. All he is is a cowardly murdering philanderer and McBipartisan is calling him the “Lion of the Senate”. Pardon me while I gag.
Well then, here you go ;^) - I find the etymology of old phrases fascinating.
They almost always shed a revealing light on those bygone times. - thanks!
