Trying to rewrite history ping. I remember the hard times the military had during his term. We had to get bolts and nuts from the cann points.

Ah, the days of The Hollow Army. Stories were shared with me of “Fred”, the parted-out Deuce-and-a-half that the mechanics would pick clean; it was still on the property book, so for every inspection, it rotated between battalion shops to stay ahead of the auditors.
Just, wow. I was in the military then and, although he was hollowing the military out, at least I had a steady paycheck.
