...Palin would certainly be one of the people on my list

Certainly qualified to be sure.

Unless of course not being qualified is STILL the wanton promotion of the electorate via our next POTUS elect in '12.

IMO, this won't be the case after perceived hell is experienced come inauguration day '09.

Can you just imagine the "carbon tax" suffrage that CNN will experience just by being staffed by humans?

Soon a "septic well" may be considered a "shelter" for them.

CNN should be called on the carpet for this dishonest hit piece.

Called by who?

I should have said when they spout “propaganda” not stupidity.....you’re right. It’s very scary to see friends of mine who have bought into the MSM.....these are EDUCATED people....

RG was a spectacular mouthpiece for the Republican party after the convention. Why? Because, as a lifelong prosecutor expected the unexpected and could turn tough questions around and score points against the interviewer and the opposition. He was masterful.

Giuliani was superb.

CNN is so outdated. Expect massive layoffs as advertising revenues must be shrinking daily. And not only do they lie a lot, they never bring in any new blood. Like, man, who wants to look at wolf blitzer every day for two decades?! Apparently not too many people! Same old ugly characters, day in and day out for decades! NO wonder the are losing viewers in droves!

You should know since you are a lib right? Saw your posts

I would suggest you read them more carefully, then. I don't think there are many liberals who believe that the remains of Islamic terrorists should be publicly fed to swine. Or that Israel should sink one square mile of Gaza into the sea for every rocket launched against them by Hamas.

It never fails. Every week I am firmly convinced that the MSM cannot sink any lower and the following week I am always proven wrong.

It's never been a secret that the media has always been left-wing. I was too young to vote for Reagan but even then I could notice the venom. But this ceaseless depravity, the lies and personal attacks, should have taken its toll on every person with even a shred of decency. Enough is enough. I always had contempt for these people but after witnessing the detestable coverage surrounding the birth of Gov. Palin’s grandson I am shaking with rage. The English vocabulary is woefully inadequate to describe how much I hate these people.

The gloves have to come off. The time has finally come for the Republican party to grow a pair and state unequivocally that they finally understand the rules of the game, that the media is indeed their enemy, and that they will have to mount a serious and passionate counteroffensive to every bit of disinformation and slander that these prostitutes spew out. When condescending interviewers ask gotcha questions, they need to have it thrown back in their face. When one candidate's daughter is hammered with harsher scrutiny than the other candidate is, these so-called reporters need to have their heads bitten off. They need to be called what they are—liars and whores.

First of all I don’t think Palin is an idiot or a fool, but she was certainly naive with respect to Washington cutthroat politics. In all fairness, what could be expected from someone that far away from Washington, DC politics while still being in the United States? She literally had days to come up to speed after her selection by McCain. I don’t know what McCain did to prepare her after their first meeting, and before her selection, but I doubt he did much.
On the other hand, her separation from beltway politics may have been her strongest attribute. Being a part of the beltway inner circle is hardly a recommendation for anything, except more of the same malfeasance and corruption. She also made the mistake of beating the same theme, ad nausium, in her speeches, instead of addressing contemporary National issues. After the first couple of speeches, we all knew just about everything we needed to know about her experience in Alaska. On the other hand, if she said anything really profound she would have upstaged McCain even more than she did.
That being said, I still like her, and if she has any notion of returning to the National stage in 2012, she needs to find a good mentor and start now to develop her knowledge of international and domestic issues, and she needs to learn how to turn the tables on the biased and contemptuous media. As you stated, she missed many opportunities to put the interviewers in their place, Couric included. She also needs to advance some of her thinking on contemporary economic issues from a national perspective, not from the perspective of a state rolling in oil royalties.
In my view, she comes across as being more honest and down to earth than any of the vile politicians from the Washington inner circle. I’d like to see her on the ticket in 2012, but only if she starts now to prepare herself for the role.

CNN can’t be taken seriously when it does something like this. What’s Palin’s crime? Wearing clothes provided by the GOP?
