I don't see anywhere in the governor's statements an implication that "single Mom's have the situation [her] daughter has." Note, she discourages teenaged pregnancy strongly.
But what relevance do other "single Mom's [sic]" have to this, anyway? We all are responsible for our own decisions and for finding the best way forward in a difficult situation. As our grandmothers used to say: Where there's a will, there's a way.
And the point is that Palin's daughter did the right thing, after she did the wrong thing.
Don't knock correspondence (or online) high school, either, in which both Bristol and Levi are enrolled.
Online high school can be an excellent alternative to crappy public high schools, whether a student is pregnant or rearing a child, or not.

How easy it would have been for Sarah to take her daughter discreetly to a “doctor” who would have removed the “blob” that became Tripp, at three months gestation. How many other high profile politicos have done this with their daughters?

As for our family NONE of them has gotten pregnant before they married. We are pleased with that. We are THERE for our kids. We don't gender swap either. Dad is Dad and Mom is Mom. Dad doesn't need to be a part time Mom because Mom is too busy selfishly pursuing her 15 minutes of fame. Sarah is all about BIG MOUTH selfish ambition. She's also not to bright - which she seems to revel in ... . She served her purpose and made voting for McPain less distasteful. Now it's time for Sarah to drift into oblivion. Sarah is NO ROLE model in this house.

She might not like what the press is saying about a personal matter, but she would be better of to say nothing. People get tired of the same old saws, and she should reserve her comments for a real issue.She has to realize the press is just doing what they always do.

I agree. All she does is feed the fire and what she is defending is problematic ... she needs to SHUT UP and deal with her family issues.
And what values do you think they have? Seems to me they're a fairly "normal" family, considering the circumstances, and have had to deal with something they never expected.
