I think outside of the box. Have you started any local groups?

That is not outside of the box. That IS the box. I think that there is not always a political solution to all problems. That is where I am at intellectually. Sorry, what I have seen personally and know about history, joining little groups and painting signs isn't going to cut it for me. I am not advocationg anything or promoting anything here, just being honest with myself. Frustration level very high. It's time to live my life and let it all go, politically. Try to enjoy what is left or what?

Well duh...

What Obama and Company don’t realize at some point what goes around comes around and it will. The beauty of it is they can’t escape it. It will happen. If they do dirty; it will be returned 10 fold.

I believe it would be more accurate to say he deserted conservative principles and refused to fight back. Spending, Plame, Gitmo, WMD, Katrina are all examples of these.

Bush is an honorable and decent man and even a good President. But to say that he was abandoned by his constituency is to ignore reality. When he stopped fighting, then I stopped supporting.

Well go ahead and take on Camp Obama all by yourself. Honestly, I do wish you all the best.

This is no surprise. It’s the same old song, with a few new lines. Justice, rights, tolerance, empowerment... code words for social control and re-education policies.

For this type of “devolved” society, an authoritarian governance is not only inevitable, it is required.

Yes, and we are witnessing the perfect 'rotten chicken-egg' unfolding.

Obama offends constitutionalists, period.

So you wish to overthrow the government?

No. Simply to re-instate it in its original, limited, constitutional form. What we have now is a usurpation of what was. It wouldn't be an overthrow of the constitutionally recognized government in any way, shape, or form.

Ooh, that sounds like fun. How far back should we go when we re-instate?

To 1950, when Rosa Parks was required by law to sit in the back of the bus?

To 1900, before women were guaranteed a right to vote?

To 1850, when black people could be owned as slaves?

How far back would you like to take us, IYAS9YAS?

I’ll answer that.

To 1900, before women were guaranteed a right to vote. If you look at the state of the country back then until now, you will find that the downhill slide our country has taken directly correlates ...

Boy, talk about taking something out of context. How about limited government?

That work for you. Right now, we are all headed for 1850, with only the elites being exempt from the rules. We'll all be slaves to the system.

Yup, I know women today who'd certainly like rapists to be castrated, but also drive around with "I miss Bill" bumper stickers on their mini-vans and wax poetic about the great times they had under him (could be taken literally, or figuratively, I guess)...
