VANITY: How do I add pictures to a post?

You sent me the link to the FR help page to explain how to post a photo. I followed the instructions and posted a couple.

But, the last two times I tried to post, it wouldn’t work.

If you have the time, maybe you could tell me what I did wrong. Here is the commands that I used. I added a space after the first carrot, but that didn’t work.

It shows a ; before the last >, but I didn’t type it. It showed up both times in the preview even though I just typed a “ and I can’t figure out how to get rid of it.

You forgot to put quotes around the URL. Jeltz25 had it right:

You can also upload to tinypic.com without creating an account.

You used to need the quotes around the URL, but that requirement was dropped years ago. The quotes are not needed.

Great. Now it works. I guess that I mistakenly added a quote marks before img.

But, that is what is shown on the FR help page:

There should not be a quotation before img, not a semi-colon after jpg.

Daughter’s pretty good with bow and arrow too.

Mrs. Mag, her screen name is Mrs Lilac, is a pretty damn good shot too. She was the only one in our concealed carry class (about 20 students) to put ‘em all in the black. I bucked one a little but was second best. I also used a .357 Magnum (seeing a pattern here?) 2.25” barrel to qualify and everybody else used small caliber long barrel stuff.
