I agree with Ann. Sarah is the real deal.
That “naughty librarian” thing sends me every time.

At least Sarah made the final 4. But Time will surely go with Zero, or their subscriber base will go totally bonkers!

“[Obama] stands out as the overwhelming good news”
They should go around door to door and ask people if they’ve heard the good news.

Even though Sarah is much more deserving, I'm afraid Time will pick

So a guy named Muhammed nominates Hussein Obama.
Shocker.

Good point, maybe Time will just go online someday and quit the newsstand.

I like Sarah as a role model for the right and somebody who can inspire everyday Joe's to get back into the game like Rush did for us in ‘94. However, I would like to see some “red meat” Sarah now that see isn't under McCain. I think she needs to have some op-eds on the bail-out(s). It would be nice for her to distance herself from having to support the AIG plan. I would also like to know what she thinks about the FAIR tax after campaignging for Chambliss.

I admire Dara Torres for what she accomplished, she shouldn’t have to turn to a knucklehead like Oprah for inspiration. She’s not part of the solution, she’s part of the problem.

I’m guessing a lot of that will be covered in the seven million dollar book deal she’s doing right now. (with a media tour in Iowa and New Hampshire afterwards of course :)

” I would like to see some red meat Sarah now that see isn’t under McCain.”
I would as well. I think Sarah has tremendous potential, but now she can step out of the (squat and hunched over) shadow of McCain and start conveying her own vision for America. She should not only write op-eds, but give speeches on the values of conservatism in an increasingly socialistic environment.

‘It sounds like a cliché, but in times of turmoil, stick with those who provide inspiration, comfort and love. That is what Oprah Winfrey has always done for me. Whether it is insight into the things I feel as a person, a woman, a mom or a citizen of this world, I always know where to turn when I'm confused or unsure.”

Until this above statement I was with Ann. Oprah did establish herself as caring, open, sincere, wanting to give others the benefit of her intelligence, etc.
Only now Oprah is in to “new age” religion. The study she is producing on satellite radio for “The Course In Miracles” with Marianne Williams, is just that.
Like “The SECRET” that she did/promoted on her show a couple of years ago. She is fostering the NEW AGE MOVENENT. Clearly. Also she loved OBAMA and I heard her say with tears ... “whatever it takes to get him elected ... we must do.”
She is entitled to her opinion of course. She is very influential ... so ...
Sarah is a terrific for the person of the year. 100%

I have to agree with Ann on this one. As I’ve said before, one of the reasons I like Sarah Palin is the fact that lefties react to her the way a vampire reacts to sunlight.
