Oh, by all means, i sympathize with your frustration. It would take so little to tip the scales away from the horrific success these terrorists enjoyed. Nevertheless, the scales lean stubbornly against us without at least some commitment to taking responsibility for ones own safety.

Also, you are absolutely correct on the choice of weaponry for personal protection. But you should bear in mind the advantages of an AK can be quickly negated by the knowledgable handgunner.

Makes me wish I could have gotten training when I was in my 20's or 30's. I don't think women were even allowed on police forces or military then.

I can't imagine even wanting to shoot anyone except a home invader, but I could have shot one of those terrorists in a heartbeat if I'd had a chance and the means, would have risked going to jail over it, too.

"Calling terrorists maggots is a slap to maggots.

Maggots at least serve a purpose..." Yeah, and you can't call them pieces of s*** because s*** has it's good purposes. I prefer to call people like them large, infected, puss filled, boils on the @ass of humanity.

President Bush didn't start the WOT

You are incorrect.

Previous Presidents treated over 20 years of terrorist acts against America as crimes and sought the arrest and due process for the perpetrators.

At the time of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attack America finally had a President with the courage to declare war on terrorism, wherever found. That President was President George W. Bush.

Sorry, but I took your original posting the wrong way. It’s probably due to the hearing the regular drumbeat from the left that if not for Bush and his WOT, everyone would be living in peace and singing kumbaya.
