No you don’t.
It’s time the blue states begin “paying their fair share” and “redistributing the wealth”.
“Its time the blue states begin ‘paying their fair share and redistributing the wealth.’”
That’s right, Karen. Take your silly-assed request to the well-to-do in Beverly Hills and bother them with it.
I'm beginning to agree with you, and I would add SURVEILLANCE and COMPLETE DISREGARD FOR OUR SOVERIEGNTY to your reasons.
how bout drillin for some of that oil off the coast of Santa Barbara?..that oughta be worth a lot of money
Tell them to quit spending billions on illegal aliens and maybe we can talk.
There. *dusting off hands* That oughta fix most of it...
I vote for no stimulus or bail out packages for anyone or any government, let them fail!!!!
“I deserve a pony. I want a pony.”
Anyone that wants a pony is nuts, all they do is burn hay and poop, no gain just cost and work!
Inhofe and his stimulus can go to hell!
Not one cent to anyone.
Seeing as how Bass was the co-chair of 0bama’s campaign organization in California, I suspect she’s got more than just an Op-Ed piece going for her here.
You deserve riots, earthquakes, wildfires, gang killings, tidal waves, landslides, and millions of liberal rectal cavities!
It’s perfectly reasonable for pretty much any entity to expect a Federal Bailout, considering what has already been done.
Nice precedent set, eh?
"Our economy continues to be difficult, especially for people who have lost their jobs or who have begun looking for one. As our state unemployment rate rises, my administration continues to work hard to generate jobs and help re-train people who have lost jobs in our hard-hit industries."I have urged the Legislature to pass an economic stimulus package that includes workplace reforms to help keep jobs in California and ways to speed up the release of billions of in-the-pipeline infrastructure and construction dollars into our economy; and our increased unemployment rate underscores the need for that package to be passed in the Legislature immediately.
"This week, through my Labor and Workforce Development Agency, I have taken action to pump out $33 million in job training funds directed toward regions of the state hit hardest by our economic downturn and to our military veterans. These grants will provide education, training, and job placement assistance for thousands of Californians.
"I also want to reiterate the need to shore up our state's Unemployment Insurance Fund. We've known for years that changes must be made to the Fund to keep it solvent, and it is unfortunate that now, when we need it most, it is racing toward the red. I have proposed a plan to ensure this important Fund continues to be a safety net for unemployed Californians and for our economy, and I urge the Legislature to pass it.
"I am pleased that, today, President Bush signed an extension of unemployment benefits that my administration had pushed so hard for, so that Californians out of work can continue to receive their benefits through the holiday season."
"Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached." - Manuel II Palelologus
I was born and raised in California and have lived in Texas since 1991. I love Texas and will never move back to the west coast. Texas has no state income tax and is a “Right-To-Work” state. California is going bankrupt thanks to the government employee unions.
All 14 of the “Right-To-Work” states are in much better economic shape than the strong union states. The “Employee Free Choice Act” is aimed at big non-union companies like Walmart, Honda, Toyota, and states like Texas. After the RATs pass their Marxist agenda, the rest of the country will be in the same sorry shape as California.
I still deserve a pony and you are mean spirited for not giving me one.
