My pastor, who used to deliver newspapers in Blacksburg during the Vick era, told me that the Hokies will never be great, because they are lead by a man of low character.

He told me that on many occasions, since he was up in the early morning hours in Blacksburg, local police were taking Beamer home because he was too drunk. He said it was several times a week.

Good points. It is often better to have an animal humanely put down, rather than risking giving it away to unknown people. The pain and terror of the pet dogs being put in the ring for slaughter does not bear thinking about.
