A normal Republican here as you can easily see from the ass-kicking that paleoPaulie received in his quixotic bid for the POTUS nomination. Have a smoke.
Did you know that your posts are almost always less interesting than reading a vomit bag?
Congratulations on your accurate prediction of the outcome of the election. Don’t quit your day job. Your friends from La Raza, MeCha, Aztlan obviously didn’t share your enthusiasm for the R nominee, even if he is the head R cheerleader for the invasion. What policy changes should be proposed in order to earn their (multiple, illegal) votes in 2012?
Have you ever considered how ridiculous your critique of RP looks in view of your early (and continued) support of primary and POTUS candidate McCain? The same McCain who can’t get his story straight as to whether he even opposes Roe vs. Wade, let alone supports personhood for the preborn? Where is his co-sponsorship of Wicker’s personhood bill (S.3111) - or does he get a pass because that is merely “holy pictures” as well? Maybe you should read Matthew 7:15-21 before your respond.
Another one. Larry Pratt is a hero of the Second Amendment movement. According to him, Dr Paul is also a Second Amendment hero. He gives him an A+ rating, and regularly features him in the GOA newsletter. McCain, on the other hand, was GOA F- rated for the last two or three years and was never even endorsed by GOA (they did support Palin). I think he got a C for his recent votes. One has to wonder how long it will take until his F is restored. Maybe after he joins the Harry Reid’s caucus?
Speaking of “subsidies” let’s see how the National Taxpayers Union ranks Paul and McCain. Leaving it to others to draw their own conclusions...

Now, shall I post the Judge Smeals video here or in a separate post.
As gay marriage was being trashed by 70-30 margins by black and Hispanic Californians, the Hispanics, obviously getting the message from the bordermaniac wing of the GOP, gave the GOP only 35% of their vote this time compared to 45% for Dubya in 2004. Proud of yourselves for the success you are having in driving socially conservative voters into Camp Demonrat???
If Ron Paul is the answer, it must have been an uncommonly imbecilic question. Of course, there is no danger that paleoPaulie will be resurrected for 2012 at age 76. We can trash him again if need be but I suspect that he has had enough. If not....
If you find El Run Paulie interesting, I sure am glad that you lack interest in me. I might have had to double check my premises.
Personhood at conception will have to be recognized by SCOTUS to be safe. Statutes are passed and statutes are repealed. Co-sponsoring proposals is meaningless when no one takes Paul seriously. Wicker should have known better than to accept a moonbat co-sponsor. Having Al Qaeda's mouth in Congress as a co-sponsor is not a plus in public opinion or in the legislative arena. Other than naming post offices in his district or declaring the looney tune the national symbol, what legislation has paleoPaulie actually gotten enacted??? I did not think so.
I am acquainted with Larry Pratt since his days as ACU Executive Director. He is a very fine man and I tend to agree with his policy proposals. He is, however, not infallible and, if he thinks anything positive of paleoPaulie that would constitute proof of fallibility.
To keep things in perspective, as fine a man as Larry certainly is, I am not suspecting that McCain's loss was the result of his failure to obtain GOA's endorsement. How did GOA suggest that voters elect Palin but not McCain since generally the two were tied together on the ballot and you could vote for both or neither.
What seems to escape you is that most politicians are phonies and that Ron Paul is an absolute master of phoniness. He poses for holy pictures better than most while often voting against what he claims to support. He poses as a constitutionalist and occasionally acts as one if it is not too inconvenient or inconsistent with the interests of those Galveston are shrimpers and others who elect him.
The John Birch Society hasn't taken over our nation yet. Nor will it. Ditto paleoPaulie and the Paulistinians. Read a good book. Go out for a nice dinner. Take in a good show. Do something useful with your life. Stop wasting it on the paleophony.
As to policy changes: 1) Understand that there is no going back on the immigration. Congratulations on electing Obamanation which will really assist you in trying to send back folks who want only a decent life for themselves and their children, in a fashion similar to your ancestors and mine. 2) Keep their kids out of public schools by creating high quality alternative schools where those kids can actually be privately and well educated. 3) Understand that "white shoe" Junior Leaguers are not likely to restore our nation. Social conservatives will do so regardless of ancestry. They will also be a lot better guarantors of the, ummmm, Second Amendment.
Various special interest groups are just as capable of being dishonest in their relentless drive for dollars as politicians are in their relentless drive for votes. "Report cards" are notoriously selective and warped to promote results determined by choice of votes before the "rating" is done. Did you also believe that Slick Willie "never had sex with that woman"???
