BUSH would be a fool if he went along with this.
It is very sad to lose jobs. Everyone needs to face the harsh reality of what is going to happen to GM and maybe Ford. More money from we, the people, is only going to prolong life support, it merely delays the death of these automakers.
Time to be pro-active, go back to school, get a new trade, or prepare to move where there are jobs.
I have had to do this for years. The software industry requires it.
You need to come to terms with the harsh reality of an America with no industry-not cars, garments or steel. Also, we are talking millions of jobs. It could very well tip this country into a real old fashioned depression which means millions of Auto industry haters would also lose their jobs-ah a silver lining it seems.
I have and I am prepared. Good thing you voted for Obama, he will save you.
It is one of life’s ironies that Obama wants to save my industry and thinks it is important while McCain did not. I voted for McCain by the way.
No one can save the Detroit auto makers.
A country that manufactures nothing will not remain an economic power and will soon cease to be a military power. I guess the country is lost then.
