I mean a court would never throw out perfectly true evidence, would it?

In a case this hot, that is quite possible. We can't legally evaluate each separate piece since the whole thing was tossed, baby with bathwater. But that obviously doesn't make any of it true, just untested.

Barack Obama: Born in Hawai`i
By Andrew Walden @ 11:34 PM :: 625 Views

A fairly impressive internet industry has sprung up claiming that Obama was born in either Kenya or Indonesia. This is nonsense which distracts from the broadly unexplored story of Obama’s upbringing. This kind of nonsense has emerged because the McCain campaign chose not to raise the many questions about Barack Obama’s numerous hard-left alliances. Barack Obama was born in Hawai`i, August 4, 1961 at Kapiolani Medical Center in Honolulu.

Obama’s birth certificate posted online is exactly the same birth certificate everybody in Hawai`i gets from the State Department of Health. It is not forged. There is nothing unusual about the design or the texture. In addition to the birth certificate, the August 13, 1961 Honolulu Advertiser also carries an announcement of Obama’s birth. The Honolulu Star-Bulletin also carries the same announcement. Both papers require submission of a copy of the birth certificate to print a birth announcement.

By refusing media requests for a look at the actual paper birth certificate, Obama’s campaign gave sly backhanded assistance to the forgery hype. The internet release of the birth certificate via hyper-partisan website Daily Kos on June 12 before posting it on a campaign website was likely calculated to fuel the frenzy. This is Obama’s Gramscian strategy designed to redirect the opposition down a blind alley. It was so successful that Hawai`i government offices found themselves inundated with telephone calls from mainland voters in the days before the November 4 election.

Since Hawai`i law forbids the release of birth certificates to anybody not authorized by Barack Obama or his family, Obama further feeds the paranoia by choosing not to grant such permissions. A World Net Daily story claiming Hawai`i’s Republican Governor Linda Lingle ‘sealed’ the birth certificate is totally false. The governor’s office has asked for a retraction. The forgery story was also boosted by video claims that Obama’s Kenyan grandmother, stated that Obama “is a son of this village”—a phrase which can have many different meanings.

For Obama to have been born in Kenya, Ann Dunham and Barack Obama Sr. would have had to fly from Honolulu to Mombasa, give birth in a substandard third world hospital, fly back and then somehow arrange for a fraudulent birth certificate to be entered by the State of Hawai`i on August 8, 1961 (at the time governed by Republican William Quinn). They would have also somehow planted the phony birth announcement in the Honolulu Advertiser (at the time edited by Republican Thurston Twigg-Smith) and the Honolulu Star-Bulletin. Hawai`i’s current Republican Governor Linda Lingle would also have to be complicit in the cover-up as would all of the leftist 1960s University of Hawaii friends of Ann Dunham and Barack Obama Sr—among them US Rep Neil Abercrombie.

In 1961, the roundtrip flight to Kenya would have been a very expensive, pointless, and time consuming epic journey for two starving students. Barack Obama Sr. had only been able to come study at UH Manoa with a free ticket on a donated charter flight with other Kenyan students.

Obama benefits from creating an opposition which seems to be standing by the side of the road impotently pointing to a piece of paper as if it could stop 63 million voters from anointing their ‘chosen one’. Birth certificate lawsuit plaintiff Phil Berg is a Democrat and whether he understands it or not, he has done great work on behalf of his party.

It is time for folks to stop being played by the Obama campaign and drop this counter productive ‘phony birth certificate’ nonsense. Obama opponents can find plenty of real material by focusing on the hard-left alliances, stated positions, personnel appointments and policy actions of the Obama administration and of the Democrat-controlled Congress.

Why can't we pursue both?

As per your words: “...the roundtrip flight to Kenya would have been a very expensive, pointless, and time consuming epic journey for two starving students. “ Then explain the address in the birth announcement of 6085 Kalanianaole Hwy.

Obama Jr., recounting his father’s 1971 visit to HI, mentions the tours the family went on. He says that they walked past the house his grandparents had lived in before moving into their apartment, plus another home he had not known about that the Dunhams lived in when they first moved to the island. He then goes on to say they walked past the place where his father had lived when he initially arrived in HI and the spot where the home he had later moved to had once stood. That makes two homes for the Dunhams and two homes for Obama Sr.

Reading through articles at “The Honolulu Advertiser” it was found that the Dunhams had lived in “a modest wooden house on University Ave., near Kamanele Park” (home number 1) They had also lived in a “large house on Kamehameha Ave.”(home number 2) prior to moving into the 2 bedroom apartment at 1617 Beretania St. The family would have moved into the “large wooden home on Kamehameha Ave.” when Ann arrived back in HI from WA state sometime in late 1962 or early 1963. When Ann married Lolo and moved to Indoensia with Barry the Dunhams moved into the apartment.

From reading articles from “The Honolulu Advertiser” Obama Sr. initially lived at the Atherton Y.M.C.A.(home number 1) prior to moving into a small, single story home in St. Louis Heights(home number 2) which we know from Jr’s testimony was torn down sometime between the end of June 1962 and December, 1971. All of these homes are located within 1 mile of the University of Hawaii at Manoa.

The home listed in the birth announcement, 6085 Kalanianaole Hwy is listed as a 5 bedroom, 2 bathroom presently assessed for between $680,000 and $750,000 depending on what site one goes to, and is approximately 7 miles from the University.
According to BIGLOOK, a Freeper living on Oahu, “Obama Born In Kenya? His Grandmother Says Yes

Nice detective work, Chief!

6085 Kalanianaole is out by Aina Haina and Hawaii Kai. A rental would be way out of price range for college students. Doubtful that a Kenyan exchange student, whose previous address was the YMCA, could have finagled a lease.”

If a round trip to Kenyan by “starving students” was cost prohibitive then explain how those same two students could afford to rent a 5 bedroom, 2 bathroom home 7 miles from the University of Hawaii at Manao. As I have pointed out to you using Jr’s own words (paraphrased) that particular home was NOT associated with the Dunhams or Obama Sr. To appease the Frank Marshall Davis supporters I also checked to see where the Davis family resided at that time and where at least one of Obama Sr’s friends lived.
The Davis family had lived on the leeward side of the Kalihi valley since 1956 (found at UofH website thesis) where they had “moved to be closer to schools, hospital and work.”
Since friends and former classmates of Obama Sr. had submitted photos of Sr at parties with them in 1961 I checked to see where the party host, Arnold Nachmanoff, had lived during that time and he was finishing off his military commitment while stationed at Pearl Harbor. You will notice the absence of Ann in any of these photos circa 1961. I might also point out that Sr’s friends never mention Ann with the exception of Neil Abercrombie. Don’t you find it strange that he is the exception?
I must admit that suffering from a shattered upper right arm has allowed me time to discover these facts, but I cannot understand why you, as a journalist, did not discover them. I really would like to see your explanation for these facts as I have laid them out eventhough you do live on Big Island instead of Oahu. To me these facts are just another piece of the puzzle that is Obama Jr much like the absence of infant pictures is. It would be nice to see that a journalist has actually investigated instead of saying it is luancy to pursue!

The only way you care enough to post this much is if you’re opposition, in this case liberal. Otherwise, if Republican, you’d either want to chase it down, or ignore it as inconsequential, as you wouldn’t care. So it’s a high probability you’re liberal. If you are not liberal, sit back, pop some popcorn, and enjoy the show.

You are probably mistaking my repetitive postings for caring about the issue or more nefarious motives. I repeated the same thing over and over (which I will do here again: the factcheck photos cannot be created with photoshop, they must have been created with a real embossing instrument and rubber stamp), because it obvious that Polarik and his followers here don't realize that.

Polarik's theories of photoshopping would only work on the low res flat scanned images at Kos, smears and politifact. There's a lot of people who apparently have not looked at the image ( http://www.factcheck.org/UploadedFiles/birth_certificate_5.jpg) and hit the magnifier, scrolled to the right and down, and looked at the seal embossed on top of the crease in the paper. That cannot be created in photoshop (with shadows and light sources) but could be created if someone had the embossing tool, the hashed paper, and the notary stamp

I realize all those things are possible to obtain and I am certain that birth certificates have been forged by other people for other purposes. But as those tools are obtained (or the equipment to create the embosser is obtained) then that would leave witnesses and possible records. I also realize there are plenty of infiltrators that would try to create an false impression about this issue.

What you don't seem to realize is that can work both ways. There is a 6000+ post thread starting in July that I have only recently posted on about the alleged forgery. That was a huge waste of time as far as the election went. So don't accuse me of following too closely without looking at the prior 6000 posts, which I had nothing to do with. If I an in fact a plant, I should have argued about it back in July in that thread or the hundreds of others that were posted.

In fact it is much more likely that a number of people here were duped, or even planted, to argue this issue as the low res images were posted because those images could have been rather easily forged without an embossing tool or stamp. Were the smears scans worth arguing over? Perhaps at the time, but not in retrospect since it was not a winning issue by any stretch of the imagination.

The factcheck photos are a different story altogether and will convince any reasonable and knowledgeable person that the artifact that the photographed is real. The artifact could still be forged as I explained above and over and over in this thread. But it would have to be forged with the tools and paper that I indicated and not the way Polarik says it was forged (with the embossing forged in photoshop).

okay, I will repeat it one more time for you, because you really don't get and probably never will, but that is NOT an official Hawaii state seal! There is no lettering in the embossed seal. It does not say "Department of Health" and it does not say "State of Hawaii". The official State seal used by the Department of Health, has lettering embedded into the seal. Therefore, what you are showing is a forgery!

Barry is a fraud!

The factcheck document does say "DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH" and STATE of HAWAII (with a small "of"). Look at the picture here http://www.factcheck.org/UploadedFiles/birth_certificate_5.jpg because it is more readable than the one you posted. Also realize the lettering is backwards because the seal is stamped from the back.

It is true (and Polarik will soon show) that the lettering and symbols are different. But that could be explained by the two comparisons being 5 years apart. The one on the left in your posting was made in 2002 and the factcheck one was made in 2007.

Please understand that I realize the factcheck certificate could have been forged. I was only pointing out (many times in many threads) that it was created with an embossing tool (stolen or forged) and rubber stamp (ditto). Those are not impossible to steal or forge. I "get it" completely and as a result Polarik (and hopefully a few others) realize that the embossing could not be photoshopped, and the factcheck certificate had to be completely created (forged or not) including the embossing before it was photographed.

I have read the article in “The Honolulu Advertiser” and may I take this time to point out the inconsistencies of their narrative. First off they provide a scan of the page in which the birth announcement appears and then incorrectly state it was the August 17th 1961 edition when it actually appeared in the Sunday, August 13th, 1961 edition. Taking the address at face value they failed to read Jr’s own words which appear in “Dreams of My Father” which appear on page 39 during his father’s 1971 visit to Oahu. Quoting directly “...we went on short walks past the private landmarks of a family...including my grandparents’ first house in Hawaii, before the one on University Ave., a house I had never known.” The house on Kalanianaole Hwy is 7 miles from the apartment on Beretania St. and with a father using a cane recuperating from a car accident in which he had injured his leg it would be impossible to walk 14 miles to view a house which “The Honolulu Advertiser” claims was the first home which the Dunhams lived in when they moved to Oahu! The house Jr is referring to in “Dreams of My Father” would be the house at 2277 Kamehameha Ave. which is within a mile of the University and within walking distance of the apartment on Beretania St. Also the address at Kalanianaole Hwy would contradict Rep. Neil Abercrombie as well who has often mentioned that he lives near where the Dunhams lived on Beretania St and would often see Stanley with Barry while Barry was growing up. “The Honolulu Advertiser” failed to do their basic research about the address which appeared in the birth announcement, simply running with the story. “The Honolulu Advertiser” also tries to say that Ann and Jr spent their entire time in Hawaii until Ann’s marriage to Lolo and the move to Indonesia, completely ignoring the time Ann and Jr spent in WA state from August 1961 until sometime in 1963. See the following link:
http://www.christianfaithandreason.com/obama.html

Not forgetting that we already know that Ann attended University of Washington for the three semesters beginning in August 1961.

IMO “The Honolulu Advertiser” has simply run with a story for which they did no research especially when they state that the Dunham family lived in the home on Kalanianaole Hwy(going from the address on a birth announcement), completely disregarding Jr’s own words about the first home the family lived in when they moved to Hawaii being within walking distance of Beretania St.! They also disregard the words of Rep Neil Abercrombie who has testified that he often saw Stanley and little Barry going for walks etc. They can’t have it both ways and neither can Obama!

Good, good, good. Just keep chasing down all those details. Pretty soon you will be able to prove to the American public that Obama is not really the President - elect. The Supreme Court justices will leap to their feet declare Obama to be null and void and John McCain will be proclaimed President by default. I think that’s somewhere in the Advertiser story...or maybe on the faith and reason website ... or maybe it is on pg 39 of “Dreams from My Father”.

Or maybe you can click your heels together three times and you will be back in Kansas....

...or maybe you can demonstrate that steel does not melt at the combustion temperature of kerosene, thus proving that George Bush, Dick Cheney and the Joooos crawled thru the ductwork of the WTC to set the charges....

Here’s something else you should read....

Chief Engineer, have you found any more info. re. the address listed in the Honolulu Advertiser as Mr. and Mrs. Obama’s address at the time of Barack’s birth? The listing of O’s birth in vital statistics in a local paper at the time helps affirm the claim of birth in Hawaii However, I wondered the same thing about the address. Why would this be listed as his parents’ address if Mr. Obama or the Dunham’s didn’t live there?

Do you have links that affirm where the Dunhams lived in August, 61? Is there a possibility the address listed in Hon. Adv. was one of a friend of Ann Dunham or Barack Obama Sr.?

There is a possibility the owners of the house in the birth announcement were friends of the Dunhams or that Grandma had encountered them in her capacity as mortgage administrator at Bankoh. Still working on it, but earlier stories in “The Honolulu Advertiser” mentioned three specific addresses for the Dunhams and none of them were that particular address. The area where the house is located is the highest income and housing area in all of Hawaii.
