I just got back from Walmart, it was so quiet in there you could have heard a pin drop.

It makes me think that there are millions of people who think this election was corrupted by fraud.

We now have the President being somebody with absolutely zero experience as a real executive, who has made promises to millions of supporters to transform their lives, to CHANGE their lives, promises that he knows he CANNOT deliver, promises whose failure to be delivered will make his supporters feel very ugly.

I'm hoping for another Jimmy Carter.

I fear another Robert Mugabe.

I’m at a university, so there was general euphoria from the Obama supporters yesterday. They can’t wait for the whole world to change into utopia in January. Some of them are committed leftists who hate America and will delight in seeing our history, traditions, and economic & military power dismantled. These are mostly faculty. The others are students, who, like, totally feel that, like, you know, the whole world will, like, totally be changed, dude. I mean, like, you know?

My brother in law is a farmer in Louisiana. He has a lot of black people work for him and the day after the election none of them showed up.

Perhaps this silence is a case of 'be careful what you wish for...'

The Dems are PROFESSIONALS at blaming SOMEONE ELSE for their troubles. Maybe it's dawning on them that for the next 2, 4, 8, however many years, they will have no one to blame but THEMSELVES. It will be very tough for them to accept that RESPONSIBILITY.

I saw several “Black Power” shirts on a college campus yesterday, but not an electric atmosphere. I guess most were worrying about classes. One of my kids’ friend’s mother said yesterday afternoon, “I think I made a big mistake. But I’m not going to worry about that right now.” Uh-huh. All-righty, then.

Interesting thread. I suppose I just don’t understand this phenomenon. It’s different than when Jimmy Carter was elected, people were upset at Nixon and you could feel where this silliness came from. Similarly, when Clinton was elected it was the economy. But this time around, it’s as if America willingly blinded itself.

I received an email from a friend that said; “all white people to report to the cotton fields tomorrow at 8am”. I’m hoping it’s a joke, otherwise I’m late for work.

Another young, black Obama supporter at work (Knowing I’m the arch-Conservative) told me that from now on I’ll have to ride in the back of the bus. I told her that on the rare occasion I ride a bus, usually the shuttle from Texas Stadium to the TPC course for the Byron Nelson golf Tournament, I would ride in the back, but it wasn’t a big deal because now buses have doors in the front, and the back.

Otherwise, it’s just socialism as usual.
