I would have told anyone who rejoiced that Obama won that America is now worse off than before and to not rejoice for us, but weep.

LOL! I love your style. And yes, it’s for them to have humility, not us-we’re not the ones always begging them for money or defense.

And the reason they’re gloating over us having a minority president, though they don’t feel called upon to have one, is that in their racist minds it has humbled us. That’s their own racist mentality being projected. It’s not the minority part of that one which we despise, it’s everything else about him.

Here's what funny about this to me. This guy doesn't sound like he particularly backed Bush, and he says that he has is "accustomed to being targeted over unpopular policies" for just being an American. But now it's so nice because these former bigots don't reflexively revile him anymore. Is this really news?
