This may sound [over]reactionary, but that's the writing on the walls. If they can, the Dems will implement a ban on all semi-automatic rifles (no loopholes) and their high capacity ammunition feeding devices. They will try to be incremental, but it's not clear how radical the Marxist polices of Obama will be. Reid and Pelosi will try to temper him, but power corrupts and the temptations of being in control of the exectutive branch of the US may be too much. His own writings/speeches suggest that he will find ways around the overly restrictive Constitution. Just as the Supreme Court found "emanations and penumbras", he'll find undiscovered resources. If I'm wrong, no harm done--everyone should be prepared. If I'm right, then we're in for a world of hurt. The election of this Marxist is a clear indication that the Republic is dead.

There is no silver lining. In 2010, the senate class of 2004 is up. That’s where we gained 4 or 5 senate seats. So we’ll be on defense. AGAIN!
I just hope someone rises up in the congressional leadership like a Gingrich to be our voice. Boehner just isn’t doing it.
The biggest shocker to me was Pennsylvania. After all the insults hurled at them by Murtha and BO. After all the NRA ads. They elected both Murtha and BO.

I would say that the one silver lining is that Americans will see what happens when socialism reigns.
However, by the time they wake up it will be too late. The Messiah will have granted amnesty and voting rights to 20 or 30 million illegal aliens, guaranteeing a liberal chokehold on elections, especially when an Obama Justice Dept. closes down any and all federal investigations into ACORN. The Fairness Doctrine will be imposed by executive order, crushing conservative dissent as the talk radio industry tanks. The economy will be crushed as well, as it always is by socialism.
If things go down this way, the only thing that will restore democracy is revolution.
In that sense, they are just imitating the MSM.
