I thought I read in the NY Times that Gov. Palin hurt McCain. Perhaps I should know better than to read that POS fish wrap.
HAHA, during the primaries a big black bus drove by and a bunch of kids were screaming, “OMG, it’s Obama.” They chased the bus down the street only to find out in was Bill Clinton. LMAO
MNlurker is right - it was Buffalo Springfield. But you are close . . . both Stephen Stills and Neil Young were core members of Buffalo Springfield.
Oh come on Rendell get with the program. The main stream media is saying PA is a landslide for Obama. Get back on the plantation.
Yep, my guess is that the leaks Rush was talking about earlier came straight from the Clintonistas (possibly Carville himself).
Even He Whose Middle Name Must Never Be Mentioned slips and accidentally tells the truth now and then. That might have happened with Rendell this time.
John McCain: “YOU HAVE A FRIEND IN PENNSYLVANIA”
Easy to get CSN&Y mixed up with Buffalo Springfield - Neil Young and Steve Stills were in both groups. FWIW, the song you were trying to think of is called... “For What It’s Worth”
You get outside the black neighborhoods, university neighborhoods and some liberal UMC neighborhoods, and there is no support for Fauxbama at all in western PA at all.
Primary results:
Hillary Rodham Clinton 1,260,444 54.6% 85
Barack Obama 1,046,220 45.4 73
Fauxbama will lose 20-25% of those Hillary voters, in PA guaranteed.
20% of Hillary voters = 252088
25% of Hillary Voters = 315111
11/4 registration 3,985,486D 3,405,278R
5/8 registration 4,200,109D 3,186,057R
Registration looks bad doesn’t it? But hold on there, that’s only 215k more D’s than 04, but R’s went down 211? What happened? Did R’s leave the state? Nope... some may have registered D, and would be SOFT DEMS and I registrations went up 194k this time. So major advantage to D’s verses ‘04? Not really.
The total registered actually has gone down slightly.
04 total registration: 8.366M
08 total registration: 8.328M
Now 4,200,109 take away 252,088 (20%)= 3,948,021 Uh Oh... little less than ‘04, and you can’t assume all of those in 04 went for Kerry. 4,200,108-315,111 = 3,885,207 Uh Oh... more than 100,000 less than ‘04... and again you can’t assume all those went to Kerry. (And both of these are based on the assumption that that increase in registration is remotely real registrations.)
Kerry’s victory margin? 140kish. Fauxbama is in HUGE trouble in PA. The talk of D registrations increases as the ace in the hole here are not what they appear.
The Polls have been not telling you the truth about this election from day one, stay motivated, get to the polls, that’s all you have to do and we send Fauxbama back to his black liberation theology church to fester.
but but but .... I thought Palin was “sinking” the McCain ticket??? That’s what I heard on NBC and CNN and CBS and ABC and HBO and . . . .
Drag on the ticket? Please, Fauxbama camp is scared poopless over Palin, she’s the X factor they can’t figure out our counter. She solidified and motivated the base, and has survived all the nastiness they have thrown at her and stood taller after all of it.
Think of her as what Fauxbama would be if he actually had some experience and foundation.
The chosen one can’t get 30k to show up on a weeknight in downtown Pittsburgh, Palin gets 10,000+ to football stadiums in small towns 30-45 minutes away. Palin is not a drag on the ticket, anyone claiming that is simply a fool.
“Admitting Sarah has been a positive.”
Oh, George Stephenhoweveryouspellit is going to be soooooooo mad!
I hope it's a LOT closer than 4 points.
Comes a time where the man has to take the LEAD somewhere.
Close the deal this weekend, be up by Monday.

As far as I can see from the times McCain/Palin came to PA versus the times Obama/Biden have been here, there is WAY more enthusiasm for Republicans than the Dems. Also, I have seen far more McCain signs than Obama ones.
I try not to get too excited about it, but I can’t help the feeling PA is going red this year.
It's suppose to be sunny, mid-sixties and a slight chance of a shower. Of course Libs are wienies.
Rendell can also thank Murtha...
