Sarah should announce that the clothes will be auctioned off in a charity auction like Rush did with the Harry Reid letter last year.

RUSH: Drive-By elites attack Sarah Palin and all of you.

Who Paid for Hillary's Pantsuits, Pelosi's Pearls, or Biden's Plugs?

Palin’s statements and McCain's statments definitely do not coordinate. They should at least get on the same page.

TWO questions of reporters:

1-How much did each of the suits the TV and print media folks covering this nonsensical story cost?

2- How much do they make a minute to talk about the Palin wardrobe in light of ignoring more serious issues?

I agree 100%, I was discussing this with my husband last night. That she needs to market herself and she need to do it well. The way she presents herself is just as important than a well designed ad. And an Ad would cost alot. Since the media can’t say anything bad about the way she looks (other than picking on her hair at one time), they need to pick on why she looks so good. But, since they are on the subject of how much clothing costs, maybe they need to get the total costs of Obama’s suits, shirts, ties, cufflinks, and shoes. They certianly are desperate.

Gov. Palin did not say she didn't get any clothes. She is saying the dollar amount is exaggerated.

When the press attacks Palin for doing what they do, we know they have hit a Pravda desperation.

Oh, for crying out loud!

At least the RNC PAYS for the clothes! I heard a designer say that they donated their clothes to HRC for the publicity-BUT I think it’s illegal to for a candidate take those type of donations.....

Just another illegality to investigate-holding my breath......

Obama is already making plans to spend MILLIONS on election night in Chicago. He’s spending it before winning it.

But, it ain’t over ‘til the beautiful, well-dressed lady sings.

I seem to remember that when Couric or Connie Chung received a new contract they specified a make up budget or $10,000+ per month, plus a clothes budget on top of that.

Make up and clothes for TV are very different than regular make up and my frumpy $69 Tosco suits (dude from Britain’s Got Talent).

For anyone in media to protest about make up and clothes is laughable.

Didn't Nancy Readgan "get in trouble" for "wearing a borrowed" gown for some --- maybe around Christmas time -- party and then she returned it?????

I think she only borrowed it and did not keep it like some of the Democrat women.

I wonder how much the DNC spent on that platform that Obama stood on during their convention?

I don’t really see why this is a big deal. It sounds like she isn’t even wearing everything that was bought and it seems to me that since they had to leave Alaska last minute, someone had to go out and buy some nice suits for her. If they’re making such a big deal out of this I am surprised they haven’t been picking on Cindy McCain for wearing that white Chanel watch I’ve seen on her in several pictures and on TV, lol.

Plus, why hasn’t the media said something about Hillary Clinton’s wardrobe? I seen the buttons on her suits indicates she wears St. John suits...which are probably much more expensive than anything Sarah Palin is wearing.

“serves only to point out how the media has shamelessly whored itself to the Obama Campaign.”

You know what — that is a great point.

I mean, if the right had as many news outlets in its pocket as obie does...we would be hearing more about;

“What if the America actually wins in Iraq.”

“Troop surge is working, in spite of Democrats.”

“George Soros implicated along with Barney Frank, Chirs Dodd, and Barack Obama in Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac scandal — sentencing schedule next week.”

“The left’s cut and run strategy failed, America winning the war on terrorism.”

“1,100 illegal immigrants arrested trying to vote — all in possession of legally obtained New York drivers licenses.”

Yeah, someday...

Nixon's "Checkers Speech" back in 1952 was about fatuous charges of a "slush fund" for Nixon's legitimate political expenses for travel &c.

Same double standard for an effective Republican VP candidate, then and now.
