Is there a difference between Bill Ayers and Raila Odinga?

Powell, is an opportunist.

He weighed which administration would be more adventageous for himself alone, its the selfish endorsement I expected.

Powell is endorsing Obama because he is black.

Powell is a RINO.

There’s a relationship that the media is ignoring completely. You hear absolutely nothing about it outside FR.

Rice did the same, didn’t she also endorse Obama?

If Barack Obama were a white US Senator in the midst of his first term, with no significant legislation behind him, and his opposition to the surge, would Powell be endorsing him?

Good question except he wouldn’t be the nominee of the party.

Powell endorses McCain = Uncle Tom
Powell endorses Odumbo = Brother

I wouldn’t believe for a nanosecond that Powell thinks Odumbo has even a fraction of whats necessary to be POTUS.

Powell is endorsing Odumbo ONLY because he’s black PERIOD!

I consider anyone who supports someone simply by the color of their skin to be a racist.

Powell is a racist.

And to think that when asked if I would ever vote for someone of color to be President would say “absolutely”, Colin Powell, Condi, you betcha. NOT NOW!

Colon....connected to the A-hole
Colin....now connected to THE A-hole Obama

“So, Colin, what you think of the Jimmy Carter presidency since you served in the military during his term in office?”

He had his up so far up someones arse, trying to move up he probably missed it.

I don't know why anyone would be surprised that he will vote racist.

Powell is not as smart as advertised.

He had BETTER NEVER claim to be a patriot after endorsing a socialist presidential candidate of the opposite party with proven ties to the vicious anti-American Ayers and a thug cousin in Africa whom he campaigned for.

Powell puts race over all else. This is despicable.

I remember an item about Colin Powell that speaks volumes about the man. During Gulf War I, Powell called Norman Schwarzkopf and ordered him to halt his attacks on the Republican Guard by telling him that “the President has ordered you to cease operations”. This happened at least 24 hours before any decision was made by the President. In short, Powell lied to Schwarzkopf and allowed the Republican Guard to walk away relatively intact. This was reported at the time by Newsweek magazine.

Does Powell have a Secretary of State license?
Back taxes?
Is he a registered Republican?
Where’s AP?

Just read the transcript. It is clear that Powell is afraid, and has wimped out in the face of who knows what racial and other intimidation. He may or may not actually believe the drivel he spewed, but the overriding fact is that he's an old man with a mentally unstable wife, and he just doesn't have it anymore. If he ever did.

Remember; if now for Powell, we would not have had to go into Iraq a second time. Schwartznegger wanted to finishe the job the first time and Powell as Chairman of the Joint Cheif of Staff convinced GHWB to call off the dogs.

No kidding. That hurt us more than anything ever did. Powell should have kept his trap shut and let the REAL General take care of business. As far as Weasley Clark is concerened, he is a real slimeball. I know some military people who have some comments about him I cannot post on FR.

Powell has been a liberal, self-serving bastard even when he was rising thru the ranks.

However, his endorsement WILL make a difference. The Press and far too many Republicans have given him stature (Former Sec of State for GWB). It WILL influence the know-nothing middle...probably good for 1-2%.

Can't say I'm too surprised that the worst secretary of state put color of skin over content of character.
