If Bill Kristol does not like it that means they are doing something right.

There's a lot of guys on the right who have all the brains in the world but sadly they're lacking in common sense and Kristol falls into both of these categories.

You got it.

McCain is within the margin of error in plenty of polls, when Obama should be 30 points ahead.

McCain can’t attack Obama the way some people want. If he does so, the media will spend the next three weeks accusing him of racism, hate, craziness, etc. They’re already doing that.

Anyway, McCain doesn’t have to attack Obama anymore, because the ACORN fraud, Ayers, and Rezko will peel off enough voters that McCain will win by a couple of percentage points, and that’s all he needs.

Kristol is dead wrong.

You know, I understand that pundits/op-ed columnists/etc serve a purpose, but, man, I am just SO tired of reading them/listening to them beat up on McCain and his campaign people day in and day out.

For pete’s sake, how can anyone possibly expect the GOP ticket to be 100% perfect over such a long period of time?
One minute, they’re getting kudos for a good ad, the next, they’re being called idiots for another.

And remember this. McCain/Palin has to overcome the HUGE handicap that is called the MSM! The dem ticket has the unfair advantage, no matter how good McCain’s people perform. The GOP has become the party that people want to hate. Period. It isn’t all about McCain or Palin.

Is there nothing better, more important for all these people to be writing/talking about? By constantly putting criticism of the McCain camp out there for everyone to see, it makes that camp look like they are not doing a good job. How can Republicans feel good about voting for a candidate when all they are reading/hearing (and not just on CNN) is how lousy their own ticket is?

Newsflash: the Beltway insiders in the GOP are telling McCain he needs to be nicer. The source of the current MSM meme that the campaign has turned “nasty” is not the Courics of the world — who will always make stuff up to help any Democrat — no, the source of that silly meme is our own wrinkled-brow, soft speaking GOP pundits.

It's past time that the NYT take a dirt nap. They already have one foot in the grave. I take whatever is written in the slimes with a grain of salt. It's only being written to reinforce an agenda that is nothing short of socialist, bordering on communist.

I guess Kristol didn’t get the memo that McCain campaign is has just completed the preseason and it’s week one of the real deal. They have a 400 million dollar war chest and unlike Dole they didn’t blow their whole wad already. They made Obama commit to a strategy, spend money , define himself. Obama wants to out wonk McCain, obfuscate with numbers on his tax plan, remain vague about forgien policy and attack McCain as a doddering old fool. Well I think the Obama campaign besides their public posturing is amazed they haven’t gotten any bang for their buck yet. McCain’s campaign will hit him broadside with all that money. And in the end that is what matters, money = organization = getting your message out. Kristol was bellyaching about McCain not being on TV enough, doing enough interviews, etc. Well don’t fret my RINO friend he will. I am sure come November 5th we will be happy with McCain’s effort and G*d willing the result.

I just saw Bill Kristol on the FNC this morning saying McCain needs to stop attacking Obama and focus on attracting independent voters. According to Kristol, the ‘Obama attacks’ only appeal to the right-wing, which will be voting for McCain, anyway.

No, he’s right. He said they should have had Sarah on Fox News Sunday, instead of the campaign manager.

With friends like this....a second grader would be able to run a better campaign if 99% of the media were constantly propping him up and tearing his competitor down.
