After the debate, she doesn’t have to do any MSM interviews. She earned her chops last night and is free to go on Rush et al from here on. Now she can snipe at Joe and Barry.

Biden was awful last night . Myu wife said his weird grins and grimaces and never looking anyone in the eye were a disaster .

I couldn't tell if his grins were an indication that he was charmed by Sarah (which obviously he was) or if he was trying to be condescending. It was almost an "isn't this airhead cute?" kind of look.

“The pattern of new registrations appears to favor Democrat Barack Obama, and the largest percentage increase was in heavily Democratic Richmond.”

This is absolute garbage, Richmond and the surrouding vicinity will go big time for McCain. Obama will poll well in Northern VA, but not Richmond.

Good things, actually.

The polls seem to be all over the place in Ohio, but I find two polls to be “higher quality” than the others. Both polls were conducted by the Institute for Policy Research at the University of Cincinnati. If 2004 is any guide, the final poll conducted by this outfit had the race at 50.1% for Bush and 49.2% for Kerry. The final results were 50.82% for Bush and 48.71% for Kerry. I think poll results within 1% of the actual results for each candidate is pretty darn good. This is the poll that I trust the most and it’s not because it is favorable to McCain.

Anyhow, here are the two most recent polls:

University of Cincinnat/Ohio Poll (9/5-9/10, 775 Likely Voters)

McCain 48%
Obama 44%

Ohio Newspaper Poll (9/12-9/16, 869 Likely Voters)

McCain 48%
Obama 42%

FWIW, they also predicted the exact finish of the 2006 Ohio Senate race.

The MSM however is calling the election over and Obama winning in a landslide.

...until they, too, break your fragile heart.

BTW, I think Pence was on the wrong side of the Amnesty fiasco.

Sarah power has been restored

Yes but obviously we have a bunch of morons out there who change their minds at a moments notice. Say if someone's tie is crooked or they acknowledge that their favorite color is blue...So we are going to need constant infuses of Palin to have any shot. Not scripted Palin. Palin, Palin.

I don't see there is much to gain by Palin going into enemy territory to get ambushed (ala Katie Couric). The campaign should use her where she's most effective, and that is being an energetic and rallying presence out on the road. Trying to play nice with a hostile media can be a disaster.

I agree, stick with only fair and balanced interviewers. I’d even like to see her go on BOR.

"Richmond and the surrouding vicinity will go big time for McCain."

Are you referring to Chesterfield, Midlothian, Mechanicsville, Chester, Powhatan, Highland Springs and the rest can out-vote/out-turnout the Af-Am population of Richmond?

“So like I say there POLLS are PURE Propaganda meant to sway Voter’s opinion ! “

I wish every freeper here realized this.

They ARE moving the sliders around.

Don’t fall for the demotivating psy-ops of the MSM.

It always amazes me, people here hold the MSM in contempt and rightly so, always question their stories, seldom believe their take on things, yet,

an MSM poll comes out and they panic! LOL

Why believe them now?

They are at war with us. What do you expect them to do! LOL

THe Bradley effect is going to be bigger then people reailize too I think.

Not because of racism. But because people have been brow beaten down with PC crap they are embarrassed to say they are not voting for the black dude.

Sarah gave us all reason to fight on last night.

Lets get it done.

That Obama is hovering near 50% is worrisome.....That we are talking about VA as a toss-up (now, seriously) is worrisome.

The McCain camp needs to make this election about Obama, make him unacceptable choice. Go hard (let the MSM call it negative).

OH (I have to believe we hold this one), CO (pure toss-up, we are likely down right now), PA (huge upset if we can steal this one....doubtful) and now VA (which at the end of the day I believe we will win.....unless there is an Obama blowout....Which I cannot fathom).

Get Palin out there in small towns across CO, OH, PA and VA....Hard hitting TV ads without worry about MSM scorn. That is the answer.

Obama is doing a great job to register the new voters. But, mind that he will lose at least 20% of the Dem votes. Even if he gets all the 7% new votes and 2% ACORN fraud votes, he will still fall short. Will be close though. Palin has to visit the white neighborhoods and fire up the base.

You know Palin needs to appear at the end of McCain’s ads with him and say...”Do we agree with this message...You betchaa!” and then give a wink and a smile to the camera!

It would be good for 5 extra poll points...no kidding!

Richmond city will go Obama...it is full of black and white Democratic state workers as well as having a large black population. The surrounding areas will go McCain!
