I don't care if this sounds tiring to some here, but I kinda made a promise to myself that I will NOT rely on poll numbers because they can be so decieving, even when we are up in the polls. Things can change in a twinkling of an eye!!

I will be posting what I said from an earlier post yesterday every time I see polls posted ..... “Just came for Drudge and he has a picture of the smug black messiah holding up a fist symbolizing black power used by the black panthers! I still don't believe the polls, NO WAY, NO HOW....I’m getting a little nervous but GOD will help us win this battle. The Tsunami of evil spewed by the RATS and their accomplices is beyond anything I have EVER witnessed. I serve a God who deals with the impossible, I serve a MIGHTY God who deals severely with evil doers and has the power to change things. I serve a God who listens to the cries of his people. I serve a KING who has the power to turn the hearts of people to do the right thing. I serve a MASTER who turns situations around... what satan meant for evil HE will turn it around for good. I have to believe I serve a MIGHTY GOD! Fix your eyes on Him don’t look at the situation, but put your faith in him. IF ever we needed Him most it’s now. Call upon him and he will answer. I’m NOT willing to surrender my COUNTRY over to Satan’s cronies yet! The SPIRITUAL fight has just began. Please, I implore you, FAST AND PRAY. This is the only way we can defeat the demons and their plans. Do not fear for God is with us. PLEASE, PLEASE..God Doesn't need an army of millions but a handful of faithful believers who are willing to take a stand in the middle of the Storm by faith believing without wavering that God can do all things! Even this to turn an election to favor McPAL! Join me with prayer and fasting.”

Wow, if he got 3 points overnight on a 3-day tracking poll(?), that must mean he actually got several points. Either McCain or his advisors are brilliant.

“If you look at just the national polls released today:

Ras: Obama +3
FD: Obama +4
Gallup: Tie
F&M: McCain +2
Battleground: McCain +1”

And that FD/Hotline (sponsored by a liquor distributor) is a very very consistent outlier for Obama. The other polls bounce around a bit, but FD is always, every time, giving Obama higher numbers. Either ALL the other pollsters are idiots or FD is full of crap.

“Whatever happened, I smell panic in the Obama camp. His surge is gone and now McCain owns the economy PLUS he has Bill Clinton’s silent endorsement!”

Obama “Hey, if you need me, call. LOL

One employee shows up for work, the other one doesn’t....the bosses notice.

Personally i thought McCain coming back was no big deal, until NO-bama said “no” to showing up for work.

“..that had over 20% blacks in their sample..”

The credible number is 11%.

On the debate delay.

McCain was pretty crafty here - he knew his debate positive performance at Friday’s debate would get overshadowed (intentially dismissed) by the media propagandists carping about the economy.

I am a little concerned though that the deal being reached already means he will look like a fool for suspending his campaign.

What does everyone else think?

Nope, it kinda looks like just the thought of Mac coming to town scared them into doing something. It was close, and could still backfire, but this is starting to look like a + for McCain/Palin.

Don't kid yourself. But for what McCain did yesterday, Democrats would have continued stalling because perpetuating the financial turmoil works in their political interest (which is all they care about). Now they rushed to get a deal done because they don't want McCain to take political credit for going up to Washington DC and helping to get the deal done.

But regardless of what you think about the deal, McCain is going to benefit politically and Obama is going to lose politically. The country saw how both McCain and especially Obama responded to the crisis. One of the candidates saw the situation as requiring all hands on deck, and the other candidate phoned in his vote of "present." One put his country first, and the other could not let the country's economic emergency interfere with his debate preparation. Only one of these candidates immediately recognized that joining the debate in Washington DC was much more important than joining the debate in Oxford (which, nevertheless, may yet go forward as scheduled). McCain just might have won the election yesterday, although time will tell (and, of course, lots of other things can happen in the next 40 days).

I agree. RAS did great in 2004, but where was Scott in Sept 2004. His final results were terrific, but where was he 5 weeks out?

Anybody have a chart on 2004 RAS?

The Obama campaign today, seeing the Gallup Poll, instructed their media robots to release any poll they could with at least a 30% Dem oversample to steer opinion.

Look for NewsWeak or TIME today to release a bogus poll saying Obama is up by 20, and watch Diane Sawyer blast it on the airwaves.
