It seems to me she had the right to fire him for insubordination or for that matter for no reason. Appointees serve at the pleasure of the Governor. Case closed.

This is a campaign that knows how the slimy side works and knows how to fight. Oh GW why were you so shy?

Pretty thin unless you’re a moonbat. If Obama is counting on this to sink Sarah, it looks like he brought a knife to a gun fight.

I know what you mean. My three-cheers for McCain/Palin has been much about pent up frustration over GW, whose shoulders I’ve wanted to shake so often.

It seems to me she had a right to fire him because he refused to fire her brother-in-law. If this guy is threatening to shoot the governor’s father he should be gone no questions asked.

Could you all imagine if Bush had fired more insubordinate employees in the Federal government? No wonder Gov. Palin got so much done in less than 2 years on the job... she made sure the people in the government were actually doing what she wanted them to do.

This is a campaign that knows how the slimy side works and knows how to fight. Oh GW why were you so shy? The man wins the presidency twice and the governorship of Texas twice and still people tag him as not knowing how to fight in a campaign. Incredible.

I’m not talking about fighting in a campaign. Rather his lack of a veto pen, his naive sharing of the glory with sleaze like Kennedy, etc. make him look less-than-combative in pressing an agenda forward. Or, maybe he did press his agenda forward, and the results are not to my liking, domestically speaking.

Could you all imagine if Bush had fired more insubordinate employees in the Federal government? Could you imagine if Laura Bush fired the entire non-partisan White House Travel Office, falsely accused them of felonies and replaced them with Texas cronies? S'pose that might play a role if she then ran for President??

But I think we can both agree that the country would have been better off had the entire State Department been sacked and replaced with Texas cronies. At least we can trust them.

12/9/07: Monegan holds a press conference with Hollis French to push his own budget plan.
There is no way French is independent. For French to allow himself to be part of the investigation, when he has a prior relationship with Monegan, is an ethics violation itself. French should be investigated for ethics violations not Palin.

Could you all imagine if Bush had fired more insubordinate employees in the Federal government? If he'd done that, he'd have to sack the entire State Department. Which, come to think of it, might not be such a bad idea. :)

Actually, I was wondering why Hillary wasn't disqualified for higher office under the same standards that Palin is being held to? Because Democrats have no standards. And then again, Gov. Palin is far more qualified to be President than Hillary ever was.
