Nah....
Letting go!
Now THAT’s a show stopper.
Oh I don’t think it hurt them. Actually just demonstrates the liberal agenda at play.
She did great under the circumstances.
If Charlie hasn’t already brought more support for the Governor with his Nazi inquisition interview, the mean spirited 20-20 fiasco should put McCain/Palin well over the top.
lol.. Heraldo keeps pushing his luck.. that goes for the MSM, too.. They are only interested in trying to make conservatives look bad.. Not about getting facts.. They are the ones who are nervous! They are absolutely terrified of this amazing woman.. This will backfire on MSM..
Geraldo is “clinging to the seawall” in Galveston, I assume ? I have not been watching.
I hope the old boy isnt fish food tomorrow morning.
LOL
This interview, the obnoxious and jarring mid-sentence edits, the cutting and pasting of answers to different questions is a TRAVESTY. People damn well better be upset about this manipulation by ABC.
LOL
She is no coward...that is for sure.
I like her guts.
Early on I had high hopes for ABC. They exposed Wright. They did an investigative piece on Nightline about 0bama’s time in the Illinois State Senate.
After that, it appeared they did a 180 and I never saw another thing investigative regarding 0bama (though I could have missed something). But Governor Palin - I’ve never seen anything like it and hope I never do again. Get a little pride, media, and show us you really did get college degrees in journalism!
heehee...true true.
Think it’s time to check the hurricane thread.
GO SARAH!!!
The only point in watching this is to write down the names of the advertisers that your going to complain to.
Local news just stated that those who stayed behind for Hurricane Ike in the Galveston area, should write their social security numbers on their body.. oh lord.
I totally disagree. With all Palin’s had thrown at her in the last two weeks, what has happened to her poll numbers, they continue to climb. I think McCain’s figured that out, and he was under pressure to let her do an interview, so she did one. He knows the more they beat up on her, the more women move to his side. It’s a great strategy and Charlie Gibson played right into their hands.
American may be many things, but they know a bully when they see one, and they will stand up for the victim of a bully every time. Sarah Palin has been bullied and yet not bloodied by the MSM, and what is America doing, they’re standing behind her and her fame is spreading.
Plus, it’s gotta be doing a head trip on Biden knowing he has to debate her in a few weeks, LOL.
Gibson’s question on the economy. Geez. The question was from the Democrat’s premise as if a given.
Not professional to be the water carrier.
Wikipedia says in her book, Myers "felt she was being treated unfairly on account of her gender. For instance, she revealed in her memoir that when she discovered that she had a lower salary than her predecessor, her request to have it raised appropriately was refused for budgetary reasons. When she pointed out that a certain male coworker in a position of less responsibility than herself was being paid more, they excused it as because he was older and had a family, which struck her as a disingenuous excuse for the favoritism."
I remember the allegations of sexism being mentioned in the press at the time. I think it's what eventually led to George's being moved up to an advisor position, and Myers finally being allowed to do her job. It's a great example of how sexism was part of the Toon's administration.
There is no negative I can see from these carefully planned interviews. I don’t know whether “it’s all part of the plan,” but whether Schimdt is making minute by minute adjustments or not, doing the View was brilliant. Palin doing the Gibson interview was also brilliant. Schmidt is demonstrating to Rove some mad-skilz as the new kung-fu master of politics in the age of new media. Why?
Knowing full well the hypocrisy of the MSM, and the bitter hatred between the MSM and conservatives (as well as moderate independents), putting McCain and Palin into the Lion’s den serves two purposes: staying on message for those willing to listen and emphasizing the fact that the MSM is in the tank for Zero. Voter impression of media bias is now seen as a greater threat to the political process than the money-raising aspect—by a significant margin. Voter antipathy toward the MSM is worse than it is toward the do-nothing Congress. They can whine all they want how it’s not fair, and gee why don’t you just let us do our jobs, blah, blah, blah...but the reality is they are just stupid and that’s why they’re being played like a stradivarius by Schmidt and his public-relations ninjas.
Nothing Palin said in the interviews has been in any way controversial for the vast majority of the base, nor to 60-70% of independents (exactly how many McCain Palin needs). The other thing voter look for is grace under fire. She passes both tests magnificently; anyone who thinks the momentary confusion about the bogus “Bush Doctrine” or the gotcha questions will sink her is badly, badly fooled.
McCain at the View, for his part, merely allowed the old guard of feminism to show it’s true colors as the extinct dinosaur it has become. If there were ever a two-bit hack of a journalist who got to the top the old fashioned way (on her back) it is Barbara Walters, as she herself all but admitted. Sarah Palin was in the minds of most people watching that segment on the View and I doubt few people didn’t consciously or subconsciously think to themselves—”what a pathetic group of no-talent has-beens are these women compared to Sarah Palin; thank god he didn’t pick someone like that (i.e., thank god she ain’t Hillary.”
The real damage is done by purposed lying like the Kate Snow sheet of lies and half-truths aimed at destorying faith in Sarah. These degenerate media freaks are trying to bring the Republic to an end, serving the socialist demcorats and their empty crap pile candidates.
