LOL!
Well, o-k then. Based on that understanding.
I now think it is very possible that such a small minded man would consider making such a crude and sophomoric quip.
I believe it was done on purpose. But there is no way to prove so the McCain campaign should drop it,
It has been put out in the arena of ideas for people to judge.
Obama’s sin isn’t meaning. Its symbolism and timing.
Lipstick in the context of his opposition is Sarah Palin, plain and simple. Not recognizing that is to ignore the phenomenon sweeping the country right now, which may explain why his campaign has been off kilter since her introduction.
After Rick Lazio’s being pilloried by the left for sexism for daring to approach Hillary’s podium during the Senatorial debate, Hussein deserves everything he’s getting.
LOL!!! You got me for a while with that one!!!
OK. I accept that he’s not ready for prime time.
I'm in total agreement there. Where McCain should hit them is on the CLEAR plagiarism used for his attacks against McCain/Palin.
SWINEGATE GENESIS & ANALYSIS: "Lipstick on a Pig" Template and Tom Toles Plagiarism
If you watch the video, you notice that Obama pauses, just prior to making that statement, and shields his eyes from the audience while he then says it.
That is a ‘tell’.
He knew what he was about to say, and what implication it would have with his audience.
I would bet money that his campaign staff spent days working on the ultimate line that they could have him deliver, using the word ‘lipstick’ and still have plausible deniability.
You are naughty!
It was ok for Obama to totally take out of context, John McCain's “hundred years in Iraq” comments,
but all of a sudden John McCain is a liar, when turnabout is done to Obama.
No whiners in the White House !
I saw that clip as well. He does love to play to his crowd and friends, doesn't he.
It doesn’t matter if he was comparing Palin to a pig. His campaign is falling apart and he allowed us to distract him all day over this issue. It shows an amateurish campaign. LBJ once told a campaign aid to accuse his opponent of being a child molester. His campaign aid told him his opponent was definitely not a child molester and Johnson replied, “I know he isn’t, I just want to hear him deny it.” We’ve had a whole day of Obama denying he called a woman a pig.
He was trying to provoke his audience by comparing Palin to a pig and worse an old fish. He succeeded in it, but completely misjudged how this would spread virally over the political landscape.
The McCain campaign needs to let it go though and let the fire rage at the grassroots.
or not...........
