I wish someone from the conservative news agencies who is a political cartoon artist would make a political cartoon of swing voters, or undecideds, independent voters, women voters
Imagine this ?
2 pictures side by side of the same yard of a front yard of a house with a Obama 08 sign.
The Obama sign has arms waving , celebrating, confetti, streams of hope and joy
Then ? 2 weeks later have passed.
The Palin affect, Obama's gaffes, MSM smears, no more joy, hope, celebrations.
Same yard, but, this time, the Obama sign is laying in the trash ( a reminder of Obama's supporters putting the USA flags in the trash )
The arms on the Obama's sign is waving a white flag in surrender.
A man walking back to the front porch with a tool box, hammer, screw driver, nails in hand after putting up a ( McCain/Palin sign ) in his yard knowing Obama has lose the election.

It is often noted that the candidate acting the most ‘presidential’ generally wins.
Obama is dancing gleefully in the gutter.

If the Obama camp is trying to say the line was lipstick on a pitbull, that is even a lamer excuse. It wouldn't even make sense. Sarah's joke makes the point that hockey moms are pitbulls with lipstick, i.e., they're fierce, tirelessly competitive, and you don't want to make them angry.

Did he include a clip when he referred to Clinton's health care policy as 'putting lipstick on a pig'?
This is really getting ridiculous.

No pit bull would have been complimentary. Pig...conotes someone who is ugly, sloppy, etc.

I’m not sure I’d put out an ad that had anyone calling my VP pick a pig.

The One meant to say lipstick on a pit bull but he botched the joke. Actually, I think he just meant that no matter how you beautify it, it was still the same old thing. He even gave another example, with the fish in the newspaper. He could have said wrapping paper. The fish will still stink. I think people are making more into his lipstick comment than they should, and it could backfire on us, the way their grabbing at everything has done to them. We need to be careful. jmo

Read my idea of a political cartoon and see what you think ? is there anyone here who can submit that idea to a conservative political cartoon artist ? they have my permission to use it... let's say it's my contribution to the McCain/Palin campaign.
To: paudio
how do you know where this ad will run? Is this just an internet ad or a real ad and if so, how do you know?
To: watsonfellow
It is about time the Republics not sit back and take and feign comity.
RNC has been the Charlie Brown to the DNC Lucy too long.
This campaign has been refreshing.

Did he include a clip when he referred to Clinton's health care policy as 'putting lipstick on a pig'? This is really getting ridiculous. You may see this as taken 'out of context'. However, we need to see it in the broader context of time. Only last week Sarah told the joke that associated herself with someone with lipstick. Everybody knew about this association, and Obama choose to say this. The saying has been around for ages, but the context is new. That's the reason this ad might potentially be powerful.
