It’s just a Google content ad. That happens on DU sometimes, I’ll see ads for McCain. Google can put your ads where they think they might get some action, LOL. If a person clicks through on a content ad on your page...your website gets half the revenue.

I sometimes forget how most people still surf the web with all the advertisements displayed all over the place.

I had no idea there were even ads on that page since I use a hosts file to block virtually all ads on most sites. The only ads I ever see are one's hosted by the sites I am visiting.

Folks, I recommend at least checking out using a hosts file (go to: and see how a hosts file works and can save you from all kinds of internet nasties. Here's what that page looks like for me (notice the absence of any advert):
