In 1946 when I was 10, my sainted maternal Grandmother taught me how to catch a Polar bear. “ On a frozen lake in the Artic, cut a large hole in the ice. Then sprinkle some green peas around the hole. When a Polar bear comes to take a pea you kick him in the ice hole.” Have a Great day!
I am sorry your Grandmother (A) has joined the saints, and (B) that she waited until 1946 to tell you that joke. She told it to me in 1926, when we were in the French Foreign Legion.
