What if this was really a ploy by Putin and Amahnutjob of Iran, to pull troops and resources out of Iraq and away from Isreal for an Iranian strike on Isreal.

Actually I think it's the other way around. I think this was a ploy to attempt to prevent an coming attack on Iran's reactors.

We apparently have 3 more task forces due to arrive any day now in the Gulf bringing the total to 5, the largest deployment since the invasion of Iraq.

What is interesting about this deployment is the inclusion of at least one if not two battleships....they only have one purpose in that area. Keeping the Straits open. How would they be shut? Iran has threatened to close it off if attacked. It was suggested a whileback that only the battleships armor could stand up to the kinds of attacks a boat would face in the Straits. Given that it takes about a months to get there, this invasion is timed as a message. Russians aren't the only ones to ever play chess.

Good reason to call congress back into session - tell them to vote for troop re-alignment and then also drill for oil...one issue relates directly to the other.
