Now this pisses me off. Somebody got to the “NWO” league in the Court. This F’in dirt bag has been in jail longer than one of his victims was alive. Perry out to tell the Supremes to F off and execute this guy already. What can they do to Perry? Answer nothing, except send him a strongly worded letter.

The SCOTUS had already ruled on this *very* issue regarding this *very* defendant....and ruled against him.Why in God's name would they agree to review it *again*?

The application to recall and stay the mandate and for stay of execution of sentence of death, presented to JUSTICE SCALIA, and by him referred to the Court, is denied. The application for stay of execution of sentence of death, presented to JUSTICE SCALIA, and by him referred to the Court, is denied. The petition for a writ of habeas corpus is denied. Long Live Justice Scalia!!

Excellent. They have about 2.5 hours to get it done.Presumably the Governor has already declined to give him any stay or reprieve and that no other Federal court can intervene,so......
Have a seat,Pedro!

No kidding. I would have flown to Texas and done the honors myself if I could. The American “justice” system is badly broken - 14 years to execute this guy - please.

This would be an excellent test to tell the SC to go to hell and execute this rat. What can the Court do? Call up it’s army and invade Texas. It is time to remind the Court they have a responsibility to just shut up if it cannot respect the people of the State of Texas.

Lawyers for Jose Ernesto Medellin, 33, say that he was denied access to a Mexican consul when he was arrested for participating in the rape and killing of two teenage girls. So, Medellin requested access to a Mexican consul, but his request was denied?

As I have said many times before, America does not have a justice system anymore. Now we have a legal system where guilt or innocence is not the prime interest.

I don’t think informing Mexicans of their right to contact a consul is an established practice by US law enforcement or attorneys, and they’re using whatever they can come up with to fight the execution. That’s what seemed to be the case in a thread on this a few months back.

So, Medellin requested access to a Mexican consul, but his request was denied? No.
Four years after his trial, Medellin remembered that he was a Mexican national and came here when he was three. At that point, he claimed that his rights had been violated.
