You are incorrect. Your mistake was that you drew the wrong conclusion when you tried to speak for me. Romney campaigned as a moderate to moderate-liberal but governed primarily as a moderate-conservative.

And as Rush Limbaugh says.. support Romney!

McCain represents the GOP’s national security wing, Huckabee represents its social conservative wing, and Ron Paul represents the economic conservative wing, but Romney is the one candidate who represents all three by himself.

No. I will vote for McCain (see my moniker next to my name) even if he picks Flip Romney.

“I would find out if it were true, and what the circumstances were, before I spread the rumor.”

See Senator Sherrod Brown’s (D-OH) statement here:

http://64.233.169.104/search?q=cache:y20DwiDAi24J:brown.senate.gov/newsroom/press_releases/release/%3Fid%3D4EA199A8-3F29-46A5-B7D6-CA0FD30659CC+bain+capital+manufacturing+jobs+ohio&hl=en&ct=clnk&cd=2&gl=us

All I’m saying is that if the McCain camp wants to lure working class voters in Ohio, they’ve got to tackle this issue and get the facts straightened out now.

Among businessmen, of course, Romney does well and in fact led by a noticeable margin in fundraising for Ohio at the beginning of the primary race.

There are several good choices.

Name them. Sarah Palin is a decent choice in many ways. But she is very much lacking in experience.

First of all, as a conservative I don’t need someone else to tell me what to think. Evidently you do. Romney’s liberal gay-loving, gun-grabbing, pro culture of death record speaks for itself.

Palin could be tainted by scandal unforunately.

Palin to be investigated for abuse of Office

“pro culture of death record”

I’m sorry. Romney’s past rhetoric on that subject may have been very disappointing but as far as his record as governor it was pretty darn good. Not perfect but good.

In addition to her I like Mark Sanford, Bobby Jindal and Haley Barbour. All are conservative, but each has a bit of baggage to overcome, liberalism not being one of them..as it would be for Flip.

I hear ya. I have an option and it sure as heck won’t be in Obama’s favor. My candidate dropped out but there is no way I can support Obama. Replace him with Clarence Thomas and my mind might change.

So you can use Rush Limbaugh quotes but I can’t?

Okay..............

I know. I saw that. I don’t think there’s anything “there.” I am more concerned about Alaksa’s senate seat. I am beginning to think she should make a last ditch effort to enter as a candidate should she not be able to talk Stevens into falling on his sword. Alaska is in disarray. I am not for her leaving for Washington just yet with that problem especially with so little under her belt.

No. His record in support of embryonic stem cell research, support for the homosexual agenda and forcing Catholic hospitals to violate deeply held faith tenants against the culture of death does not make for even a “pretty darn good” record.

Cool, very cool. I like happy (not stuffy) people. :-)

Absolutely. Why be a strident drag? Life is great no matter what happens. We had a ton of fun during the Clinton Administration even though we actively opposed most of what he did. Here is a link to some photos of us having a good time protesting Clinton: Clinton Years

I’ve noticed you’re a big suporter so I’ll ask you in an honest, educate me fashion, what does he offer in his public servant role that would excite conservatives? I’ve heard of the flip flops but I’m okay with that if the liberal positions he took in order to get elected in MA afforded him a way to introduce some conservativism to that state. Did He?

Jindal has come straight out and said he didn't want the job.

Palin is tainted by scandal whether it's true or not.

And Sanford.. well.. umm.

I'm drawing a blank on exactly why he's NOT READY FOR PRIMETIME.

Pay no attention to my U.S. Senator. Even Bill O’Reilly has referred to him as a “left wing nut.” Seriously, I wouldn't even worry about this.

1. Mark Sanford: Good conservative. But doesn’t bring any electoral calculus to the map.

2. Bobby Jindal: NO WAY. Let’s not rush him and damage him the way Quayle was. He has even less executive experience than Palin. Let him GROW. We may need him in 2012 or 2016.

3. Haley Barbour: Fine conservative. Too “oldish” looking to share a ticket with McCain. Ditto on his lack of electoral calculus. Has already said, “No.”

KEEP GOING...

(To your credit you have yet to offer up a laugher. Good for you.)
