Those insisting upon an atheistic religion have caused more genocide in the 20th century than all others in human history combined. Their nations later degenerate into self destruction.

True enough, but there was a lot of religios-based murder before that. Communism just became a new religion

Matthew 12:38 Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we would see a sign from thee.

39 But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas:

40 For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

You, Soliton, have chosen to deny the witness of those to whom Jesus revealed this then verified by doing it. Jesus was crucified and died on a wooden Roman cross. He died. He was wrapped and placed in a rock guarded tomb. But He arose three 'night and mornings' later and is alive forever more. You have chosen to deny this which is sworn to you via the Bible. The hardness of your heart and the willful blindness condemns you in your arrogant denial. You could change your 'fate' by exercising faith in His word, His promise, His witnesses. You have actually chosen not to, perhaps to maintain your egocentric position/perspective, it is hard to say.

How would exercising the smallest smidgen of faith in His Word harm your vaunted self-appointed position of superiority? How would believing His Promise harm any work in which you may be engaged?

The evidence of The Creator is all around you. You literally are alive by the providence of God. How would acknowledging His existence, admitting you don't know how it all works, and continuing to pursue science harm you? Who is so important to you that you believe would laugh at you so you go out of your way to spit in God's face and trample His mercy under foot?

Hahaha, you’re hardly the ‘scholar’ to assert that. You haven’t the historical background to understand the changes which happen for the ‘days of passover’, etc. You probably believe the crucifixion happened on a Friday even.

BTW, if He was dead one day and two nights, and He arose from being dead, what does that do to your denials of His deity?

The body count generated by athiestic tyrants such as the communists far outstrip anything done by religious nutties (except maybe Islamic jihadists) in all of history. As bad as the Spanish Inquisition was, it claimed few tens of thousands. Communism, fascism, Nazism, and other related forms of extreme leftism has the blood of multiple millions on its hands.

When it comes to killing innocent people, no one beats the athiests.

I don't know why I bother with you. I can't quote scripture as support because you always claim it doesn't mean what everyone else says it means. You don't accept science and you don't accept the Bible. Your world is just a matter of your opinion.

Hitler and Mousolini and Franco were “christians”.

Words have meaning. "evening" and "morning" refer specifically to sunset and sunrise . . .

And what meaning would you ascribe to the sentence, “And the evening and the morning were the first milieu”?

I don’t have a French Bible, but that makes no sense whatsoever.

"so you mean that Moses was trying to be confusing when he wrote Genesis? Why would he do thats?"

It's more, I think, what you are trying to do now. Why would you do thats?

"No one NO ONE thought that the days in Genesis was anything but plain old everyday days until science contradicted the Bible."

Prove it.

Evening + Morning = ONE DAY
Many want to consider the days in Genesis one as metaphorical or symbolic. However, there is nothing in the text to suggest this. The evening and morning gives each day a distinct boundary.
The terms “evening” (Heb., ereb) and “morning” (Heb., boqer) occur more than a hundred times in the Old Testament and ALWAYS have literal meaning, that is, the termination of the daily period of light and the daily period of darkness, respectively. Also, in the Pentateuch, the occurrence of “day” modified by a numeral (i.e., third day), which appears more than a hundred times in it, is always presented as its literal meaning.

"Did your read or listen to his explanation?"

It is not Soliton's intention to read or listen. His behavior is that of a provocateur. He is a troll.

I went to the Reason.org site and read lots of things including his justifications. Do you deny that Genesis plainly indicates days consisting of an evening and a morning in the Jewish tradition? Do you deny that God could have created everything EXACTLY as stated in the Bible? Do you agree that your minister of science has no scientific proof of his assertions?

Hitler and Mousolini and Franco were “christians”.

Mussolini and Franco were left wing radicals. Hitler paid lip service to Christianity, but in truth he detested Christian morality and was more comfortable with old teutonic paganism, which is the source of much of the Nazis symbology. Hitler was also a disciple of Helena Petrovna Blavatsky, who is considered one of the founders of the modern new age occultism movement. Hitler was in no way a Christian, he merely paid lip service to it for his own gain.

I recommend Jonah Goldberg's "Liberal Fascism" for a more in depth study. Also, the three part documentary "The Occult History of the Third Reich" sheds a lot of light on the situation.

For a guy who promotes himself as so intelligent, this was a decidedly stupid remark becase it is so convoluted yet is so instantly an affirmation of your own negating based solely on opinion that which you’re deriding: ‘You don’t accept science and you don’t accept the Bible. Your world is just a matter of your opinion.’ [Figured out yet how Lorentz transformation as an example of limits are useful in comprehending a different perspective on spacetime realities?]

You express your religious beliefs here all the time and it's public.

Not public. We are here at the sufferance of Jim Robinson as your own recent experience should attest. There are limits, of course, but Jim is a remarkably tolerant host, or you would have been long gone (contrast this forum with that of DC, or of DU, for example).

You can stand on a street corner and yell it all day long.

Theoretically. In reality the practice can become ensnarled in rivers of governmental red tape. In my own community, just recently, a local pastor showed up to counter-protest a same-sex marriage demonstration. No yelling; just a sign. Two cops approached and informed him that the section of sidewalk where he was standing was temporarily closed to the public and that he had to move across the street, effectively taking him out of the picture. When he asked why, he was immediately arrested for criminal trespass and held until the demonstration was over. Then mysteriously, it was decided Whoops! big mistake, and the charges were dropped. So sorry.

You can teach your children whatever you believe.

And hope that the frenzied louts who want to charge parents with child abuse, don’t get their way and cause the laws they hope for to be passed. We have seen many such proposals on this very forum. Against parents for teaching Christian values; against homeschoolers; against permitting Christians to enter colleges under any circumstances.

The presidents have all been alleged Christians”.

Yeah, doesn’t that just frost ya? Too bad, so sad.

Your religious holidays are federal holidays.

Don’t tell the ACLU. It will spoil their supper. But, seriously, what religious holidays are these to which you refer? The Supreme Court has ruled that the so-called religious holidays have been so secularized that they can no longer be regarded as religious. Not true? Go tell it to the judge.

Where is all of this repression you speak of?

I’ve given you some examples, but I didn’t say it’s all been successful . . . yet. See the website FIRE (it has been claimed that what happens on our college campi today will be happening on the street tomorrow. Close, if not exactly right). See Voice of the Martyrs. See most any Liberal rag, most any day.

Now it’s time for you to deny, deny, deny.
