You know, here all this while, I never even noticed that you were such a goober.
Pay attention.
Can we call you "goob" for short?
Not for long.
I mean, it's easier to pronounce than your freep handle. [how would one say it? yuh-house? yah-os? yowse?]
I dont know; I can barely spell it. YOUSE, I guess. Like LOUSE, only with a Y in place of the L.
I'm only *semi*, myself, and don' talk too good, if you know what I mean...
Sure. I, myself, can just barely string 3 or 4 words together on a good day.

you can be reasonably certain that a drive for political domination plays its part in the assault. Politics? No.

"Looks like God Himself timed His days to the rotation of the earth." That is the simplistic, childish, man-centered viewpoint. With a FRname like, "soliton" are you not familiar with relativistic time?
How could God's timeframe be Earth; He existed before he made Earth (and everything else)...
(Interesting how you "nonbelievers" can't resist referring to the Bible... ;-) Good for you!)

" The fact that so many believers are rude, semi-literate goobers makes it a hard club to join though. "There are lots of " rude, semi-literate goobers" driving cars, too. Do you use that as an excuse for walking everywhere you go?
(BTW, I hope you exclude present company from your " rude, semi-literate goobers" characterization...) <LOL!!!>

You aren’t arguing with me, you’re arguing with Genesis. “And it was an evening and a morning”. That is the rotation of the earth.

There are lots of " rude, semi-literate goobers" driving cars, too. Do you use that as an excuse for walking everywhere you go? No, but it is the reason I keep a Ruger P95DC in the car
Andno I don't consider you guys goobers. I don't respond to people on my goober list

"No, but it is the reason I keep a Ruger P95DC in the car" I prefer the HK P7M8. (The P7M13 feels like a 2X4 in my hand...)

I have shot the P95 hundreds of times and like the way it looks. It is a big 9mm. My wive as a pocket .32 and it isn’t very intimidating.

For someone who demands scientific proof, you certainly play fast and loose with the data:
"And it was an evening and a morning. That is the rotation of the earth.
Yep, that is specific and exclusive. There are no "mornings and evenings" anywhere else... </SARC>
Example: what would you call the transitions from light to dark, etc. during a Martian "Sol"?
IMO, you apparently have been listening to Bible explanations from too many "rude, semi-literate goobers"... (Or did you come up with that argument on your own?) <WINK'n'GRIN!>

Yep, that is specific and exclusive. There are no "mornings and evenings" anywhere elseWords have meaning. "evening" and "morning" refer specifically to sunset and sunrise which in turn is caused by the rotation of the earth.

Same here -- except that "intimidation" is not a consideration for me. Effectiveness and confidence in your equipment is what counts.
FWIW, the morning of last July 4th, while on an archaeological site, I was "jumped" by a big rattler (4' long, big around as both my fists, 13 rattles...) First, instinctive shot after drawing (in mid-air) from the Alessi holster hit him mid-body and stopped his advance. The next (aimed) shot hit dead center of his head and ended his career. The entire event took 'way less that ten seconds -- including my first giant leap up and back... '-).
Use what works for you -- no matter how many legs the 'snakes' have...

You have evidence that no truth stands beyond your comprehension?
Do you have some?
Soliton, answering someone's question by asking them the same question back is not an effective debating tactic. The question was posed to you if you have any evidence that know truth is beyond your comprehension. Either answer the question or don't.

I had a case once looking for some rock paintings where I nearly stepped on one in some low vines. So I carefully backed away and got up on a nearby rock to get a better view--there was one on the rock as well.

so you mean that Moses was trying to be confusing when he wrote Genesis? Why would he do thats?

"evening" and "morning" refer specifically to sunset and sunrise which in turn is caused by the rotation of the earth. To paraphrase Alamo-Girl:
"Man (including soliton) is not the measure of God."

Moses recorded what was dictated to him by God. Those are God’s words — spoken from His reference frame — not Moses’.

He asked you to provide evidence that no truth is beyond your comprehension.Scientific method does not apply to proving negatives. Scientists believe something exists based on evidence. I do not have any evidence that any "truth" can be unknowable by the human mind. I do know that you can NEVER know if something is true without evidence. Empiricism is the path to truth.
