I told my husband this morning that these guys were perfect candidates for the show, Are You Smarter than a Fifth Grader?

"What?! That's outrageous! No office should be called a "black ho'"! Or a "nappy headed ho'" or any other kind of ho'. It's racist! It's outrageous!
What?
Black hole! Oh, like a collapsed star.
Nevermind!

A chink in the armor.

Seriously, I remember this from a story many years ago that some “professor-type” at UC Berkley compiled a list of expressions that were ethnically “insensitive” and should be deleted from the English language. It was so far-fetched back then that people laughed this guy off.

Now look at things . . .

BTW, I live in the Dallas area and John Wiley Price does more to create and maintain negative images than anyone I’ve ever known. This is just his latest incident.

I doubt if I could teach these guys what a black hole is ...

I could teach them what a black a-hole is, and all I would need was a properly positioned mirror

Yep... he use to picket on NW Highway near North Park Mall... I think he was ticked at "rich" whitey or something (North Park Mall is not far from upper middle class/upper class University/Highland Park neighborhoods).

Why in the world does Dallas County still have John Wiley Price as a commissioner? I would have thought he’d have burned through enough votes by now.

“(as in, “The White House has finally become the Black House”)”

I have met John Wiley Price before, and had some limited interaction with him when my company had business with the City of Dallas, and this man is in fact a moron/idiot.

A few radio stations back in the 90s used to make sport of him quite often. They nicknamed him John Ray Wiley Coyote Price.

Who gives a damn?

I does...'cause it bees racist.

And I, being of superior intellectual mind and spirit, most indubitably do because black holes are the center of every galaxy and a scientific fact that there are greater powers than us in the universe! I use the term "black hole" at least 20 or 30 times a day and know that it has nothing whatsoever to do with racism.

You know that will be a major theme if Obama becomes president. I expect many comedians to use that as a punch line, and civil rights activists to use it as a slogan (as in, "The White House has finally become the Black House").

”After all, even the word "yuk" is now racist.

I read about this new racist word recently. Wasn’t it from a ‘study’ attempting to identify racist babies and toddlers? What a messed-up world!

Him and Sheila Jackson Lee must have attended the same skewls:

On a visit to the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Lee, a member of the House Science Committee's space subcommittee, asked if the Mars Pathfinder had taken an image of the flag Neil Armstrong planted there in 1969!
