Could it be a case of much ado about nothing? Doug Ross thinks so. Questions have been raised about the copy posted on the Daily Kos site bore a state seal embossed. ..one of Pamela Geller's readers did some heavy-lifting with Photoshop and discovered what appears to be an embossed seal on the back of Obama's certificate.
Ross writes:
I was startled because I had carefully reviewed the image weeks ago and not seen any clue of a signature or embossed seal. I spent some time this morning playing with various graphics settings until I was able to tease a similar image out of the scan.
It certainly appears to be legitimate.

One thing I’m not clear about is that if someone wanted to take a legitimate birth certificate and put in fake information, would the seal pull through in Photoshop?

The issue of the “seal” doesn’t answer the questions regarding his citizenship. The fact that he has to lie about where he went to GRADE SCHOOL should be a big hint as to what else is being buried regarding his past.
Maybe the folks at DailyKOS did it so that all the heat would die down? I dunno.
It’s hard to dissect that liberal thinking where something that’s “fake but accurate” is acceptable.
Who cares what a photo shows. Photos are easy to doctor.

And how about the fact that two different versions were actually posted, the one on KOS and the one Obama’s own site. They can’t both be genuine.

I'm still skeptical. This does not address the obviously phony margins. The document on Kos was photoshopped. Why hasn't Kos or BO released the original? It would be so easy to clear up if there weren't a problem with the original.
But your point is a good one. Why was this even an issue in the first place if there is a legitimate birth certificate in BO's possession? Make a hi-res copy of both sides and release it. Everything done in one hour. Instead, it's turned into a big drama.

I agree. We should demand an actual Paper copy of the certificate from Obama. And to be fair, from McCain, Barr, Nader and anyone else running for president.
If we just question Obama’s certificate we will look like kooks. That’s why we need them all.

I maintain that the whole “Obama’s birth certificate is a fake” controversy was planted by Obama operatives to divert attention away from the more credible “Obama is a homosexual crackhead” controversy.
