“Affirmed 5-4. Now lets see the details.”
Yea. 5-4. I’m getting a little nervous about this split. Its every decision, it seems.
One appointment to the left will change everything.
To: mewzilla
It sounds like an out and out win.

I agree completely. Whoever McCain nominates they’re sure to be far better than Obama’s choices.

They got this right and the 5-4 decision is just another confirmation of the importance of the next election. Why, in a country with a Bill of Rights have we been waiting anxiously for our court to rule correctly?

Exactly! Great news on its face, but let’s see the reasoning in the opinion. Was this a small step or a giant leap?

Great News, but lets wait to see if there are any devils in the details. I can't wait to see how the MSM will spin it. The but, but, but, but, will be the mantra.

Me, too. Literally.
I am ashamed those nine tyrants have such control over my emotions, but there it is.

5-4 decision, one majority, two dissenting opinions. It will be interesting to see where the dissents diverge from the majority opinion and where they concur, but come to different conclusions.

5-4 vote dodged a bullet on that one
yeah, it's pathetic that 4 Justices can't read the 2nd Amendment, or are willing to ignore it.

No we didn’t. The judges don’t grant us those rights. We already have them, and the judges would be put in their place by the people had they ruled differently.
The judges that ruled against this should be IMPEACHED!
