The theory of evolution through natural selection is not “usually used to defeat the premise of God”. Most Scientists in the U.S.A. are people of faith, and most Christian denominations accept biological evolution. Why would Scientists of faith such as myself use evolution to attempt to “defeat the premise of God”?
No, we use the theory of evolution to help explain facts about biological systems and make predictions, like any other theory in Science.
How does the theory of evolution “defeat the premise of God” any more or less than heliocentricity, the age of the universe, the formation of stars and planets by natural means, or anything else in Science?
I would imagine that it would be because there is so much overlap between the two groups! ;)
No, inconsistent with your position regarding other scientific theories.
You are apparently unwilling to put any real thought into this conversation. Thanks for the pictures; I'm out.
Good night, Johnboy
Sleep well!
