So ... back in the early 70’s (April ‘74 I think) ... just a few years after I was warned in my Weekly Reader the earth was heading to another Ice Age ... hundreds of tornadoes touched down nation-wide and wreaked havoc. Wiped out Xenia Ohio ... Cincinatti got hit hard ... and now, 30 years later, I am in Michigan enjoying the most wonderful cool spring/early summer in memory. We had a line of very severe t-storms pass through last week. Knocked out power to nearly 1/2 M. And?
They don't know shit.

The temperature was low enough to cause our furnace to come on this morning, June 19th. That means it had to drop below 64 degrees in the house.
There was snow here in Upstate New York on the last day of April.

Shut them down.

The weather is as weather does. NO ONE consults with God about it. HE just says 'deal with it'.
Not knocking you. But it's the Lord who decides the weather...NOT the weather forecasters/algore/etc.

I will believe any of the these so called Climate experts when they release the following press release "I can guarantee that the temperature WILL rise by 3 degrees over the next 12 months and extreme weather WILL occur across the nation. If I am wrong about this I will quit in shame and never work in this area gain."
Come on all you weather experts take this challenge, of course the exact temperature rise will be up the the expert along with the outcomes, but they must be within 10% of the exact next 12 months of weather.
I am really getting tired of this crap of it might, I think, it may, it is possible, this may happen...etc. Declare an outcome or shut up.

Yesterday they said that there would be more intense earthquakes too. They are getting desperate, people are catching on.

I thought we were all for change ... well, change means it has to get hotter or colder and no one seems to be clamoring for it to get colder. So what’s the problem?

Expect More Droughts, Heavy Downpours, Excessive Heat, And Intense Hurricanes Due To Global Warming normal weather, NOAAFixed.

"We will continue to see some of the biggest impacts of global warming coming from changes in weather and climate extremes, said report co-chair Gerry Meehl, Ph.D., of the National Center for Atmospheric Research in Boulder, Colo. "This report focuses for the first time on changes of extremes specifically over North America." Since the numbers just don't show our temperatures increasing, how can temps that are not going up cause all of these disasters?

These idiots can’t even reliably predict where a hurricane is going to go. And I’m going to believe them when they tell me what the weather will be like *if* something should happen?
Um, no.

It's time for a house cleaning at NOAA. In order for more intense hurricanes and storms to be able to form the air at midlevels of the atmosphere must be
cooler, not warmer. The reason is rising air is what creates storms. This rising air is caused by cooler air aloft. A warm parcel of air at the surface is of a lower density than cooler air aloft, therefore it rises and takes moisture with it. When this condition is true, storms often develop if there is sufficient moisture present. If the air aloft is warmer, little to no vertical movement of the air parcels occurs and the atmosphere is considered "stable".
This article shows an embarrassing ignorance of how the atmosphere works and storms occur....
