In addition to giving $20,000 of his own money to Jeremiah Wright, as a state senator Obama directed $225,000 of the Illinois taxpayers' money for programs run by Father Pfleger. In the U.S. Senate, Obama earmarked $100,000 in federal tax money for Father Pfleger's work. Giving someone more than 300 grand is not just some tenuous, coincidental association.

Sowell draws blood here. I'd like to know just how much money Obama directed toward Wright after his "chickens coming home to roost" remarks post 9/11.

The danger from foreign-based terrorism - and the danger from within: Obama’s 100 percent affirmation of abortion including third trimester abortions, and even the slaying upon birth of a child (partial-birth abortion).

We may diddle-daddle over various ideological matters; but national security and the right to life of the unborn (and the newly born) are fundamental to everything.

Senator Obama's foreign policy seems to be somewhere between Rodney King's "Can't we just get along?" and Alfred E. Neuman's "What, me worry?"

To me, this is the real kernel of his article:

I would like to know why any govt entity is using tax payer dollars to support one church over another.

Where is that infamous separation of state and church that the left is always harping about.

I know, the left only harps about it when is disadvantageous to their cause.
