Maybe. I think its a kneejerk reaction to someone that has an opposing view of circumstance and history... and just because he dares to express his view doesn’t mean that he should be personally attacked because of it. As a gifted writer with an insightful, well researched opinion you can agree with him or not... its your choice... not the end of the world as we know it. Also, he is born and raised a good Irish Catholic and if I remember correctly, Ireland wasn’t too supportive of the Allies in WWII (because of the British issue)...
If he bothers you that much... don’t read him. Frau Blucher!
