The Kennedy family seems destined to grief and tragedyA person's destiny is always in their own hands, that is why we were granted free will to live within the bounds of what we are taught and what we naturally know to be right and wrong. That family has rarely considered or taken their actions in life very wisely. Their grief and tradegy has always been largely and usually directly a consequence of their own bad decisions. They have mostly been given a pass for their lack of good sense, morality or judgement because of the large myth built up around them. I do hope he survives because a stroke is not a laughing matter but don't be surprised if you see him wheeled, still incompacitated, into the senate so that the dems don't lose the seat or position.

The simple, sad fact is that the only way to get a Kennedy out of Congress is through permanent disability or death.

I don't know what's going on with all the pulled post except that censorship on comments is riding high right now.
Ohhhh, if only I could post my true opinion on how I feel about that man. But, then, my post would be pulled and I'd get banned.

If Senator Kennedy is like a relative of mine who had the same thing happen.....
The ambulance was called at 8:30AM. If Kennedy was found in his bed with the stroke symptoms then he will not be recovering much. The stroke occurred hours before and was doing damage for hours. Different than if someone has a stroke dying daytime and an ambulance is called immediately

My mother had one last year. Her brain was gone when they found her. More than one of us can testify to the sadness of having a relative, and I presume oneself, live past their cogency. Your loss is fresh, my mother died in '04. But really, over the five preceding years, a little at a time. Dad died rather suddenly, and that hit me like a ton two tons of bricks. And affected me for years and years.

I don’t care.
When the man is in grave condition, it is not time to discuss these things. Yes, some of the deification going on is hard to take. But, again, this is NOT the time.

The last person to run against Ted K was not given any support from the state Republican party. None at all and they made that known to him very early on in the race.
I think a lot of people around here have given up in regard to going to the polls. They figure ‘ what is the use? ‘
Also, a lot of the people who would vote for conservatives have moved from my state. These numbers are getting larger and it looks like we will lose a congressional seat. Which doesn't bother me in the least. It saddens me to no end seeing what kinds of men are sent to Washington DC from Massachusetts considering what kind of men once populated the political landscape. But that was long, long ago and I have very little hope for our state.
I know or have heard from endless numbers of fellow Massachusetts citizens who do not like Ted Kennedy or the Kennedy family. I really never understood Ted. His positions on social and foreign affairs are so far removed from my own.
I do not wish him ill health. I do wish that he would retire.

so whats with all the deletions.... Seeing as you've been a poster since 2000, you should realize the legal
BS that could be thrown our way if posts that could be determined as vulgar
were to be challenged in a legal case.

The media is hyperventilating over Kennedy .. and FOX has been on the air since 8:55 am talking about it.
I don’t wish the guy ill .. but this is just riduculous.
Guess it’s time to use my Rush 24/7 and listen to some more of Rush’s brillant words.

I don't know what's going on with all the pulled post except that censorship on comments is riding high right now.It ain't censorship when a private website upholds its own basic standards. This isn't the time or place for this stuff.
To: pepperhead
Bi-partisan refers to working with the other party. It does NOT mean working with the other end of the political spectrum.
There are plenty of RINO Quislings in the Senate to aid and abet Kennedy, and Kennedy’s work with them was indeed “bi-partisan.”
