He was bi-partisan only when republicans saw the merit in marxism, which has been fairly often lately. So technically, Pat's right. Except for the "great" part.

It was to be specifically applied to this thread, not to history in general. I was curious if we could be more civil than the DUmmies had a similar thing happened to an ultra-conservative national figure.
Contrast what’s happening on this thread with the hateful bile spewed on more liberal boards when the Vice President has been hospitalized.
Prayers up for the guy. I know we are against him politically and he has a lot to answer for Chappaquiddick and all, but but we must remember he is a fellow human being who is experiencing health problems and needs all the help he can get. Let’s hope he fully recovers.
